[Changed Pitch] - The Amazing Spider-Man - Crane Scene HD (Read Description)

This is the awesome crane scene in the awesome remake that is "The Amazing Spider-Man," but with changes in pitch at different intervals. I did it because I thought it sounded more epic with the changes in pitch. Enjoy.
Spider-Man belongs to Marvel.
The Amazing Spider-Man belongs to Sony.
ALSO, NO FLAME WAR ON WHICH IS BETTER!! I like the new one better, but I still don't mind those who like the old one the most. I don't want to hear which ones you people like without reasoning. I don't want to see any arguments and lashing out on others because they have an opinion (with reasoning). I will block you if you do so.

This scene always gets me; the wounded hero, desperately fighting to continue, seemingly about to lose hope, when the people he's fighting to protect rally around him to help in whatever way they can despite having no powers of their own. I love the original three and always will, but this scene validated Amazing Spiderman for me as a companion to the Spiderman legacy. A hero is suppose to inspire ordinary people to try and be something more, and I can think of few who do this as well as Spiderman.

pfft, when's the last time Superman was ever in MORTAL danger, unless there's Kryptonite in the immediate area you could wail on him till doomsday and all you'll accomplish is wasting time. In the event Kryptonite is a factor, someone ether always shows up to remove it or he somehow overpowers it *Superman Returns* Superman is an alien demi-god while Spiderman is a mortal human with a few enhanced abilities, Spiderman in peril will ALWAYS have the fans cheering him on and the people rallying behind him faster then Superman. *sorry, I'm a little biased ever since Man of Steel turned Superman into a killer, You do NOT do that to the one hero above them all who symbolizes the best of mankind.

Spiderman has always been the best at rallying the ordinary citizen to help him when he needs it most, because of what he's done. He's saved many people's lives, and they don't forget that. So this scene really shows that part of him. And man, that pitch changed music is dramatic. Sheesh. The only other person I can truely think of who is good at rallying others is Catain America, but he doesn't quite achive the same affect. He's just really good at being a captain, while Spiderman is... different.

Also the spirit in Spider Man 2 when he saved the train and the people carried him and promised to keep his identity secret "He's just a kid". I love stuff that shows that while Spidey may not be the strongest superhero, he's the one that they love. Gets me all misty.

@narwhalsyrena4668

@@TheAvengingAyush Perhaps, but the dramaticness of this scene is quite important. Besides, had the helicopter escorted him, it would have destroyed the effect, being that the people are standing behind him, doing what they can to help the one who has helped so many.

This scene really is epic as hell. I think the one thing that all of the MCU movies don't have is that the Spiderman movies, pre-MCU, have that one special scene, that special dialogue, that is EPIC as hell. Spiderman 2 had that scene between Peter and Aunt May, as they're talking about Henry, which is touching as hell. Unfortunately, Far From Home and Homecoming lack any such scene ... it just lost that emotion the the Maguire and Garfield films had.

Hey raimi fanboys! what do you think of this scene
@gent777
@gent777 10 лет назад
***** well, you're entitled to your own opinion and i'm entitled to mine. i'd like to hear reasons of why you didn't like this scene and just let bygones be bygones.
@gent777
@gent777 10 лет назад
***** well, if that's how you feel about it, more power to you. personally, i found it plausible when you realize there are other silly scenes. in the handstand scene when falls off the building and saves himself with a web swing and ruining the cafe tables, no one was around to see it. then again, for the convenience aspect, how about that uncle ben happened to be around when the thief was making his getaway when ben had no idea where peter went? on top of that, it already showed that spiderman couldn't swing from building to building, as he kept crashing because of inexperience and from the physics aspect. note how everytime he web-swings, he always swings at places that has something above him.
@gent777
@gent777 10 лет назад
like i said, physics was thrown in there. you can't just swing side-to-side without crashing and it's much faster to swing in one direction like a pendulum. and they focused on peter's development in a different way. the end of this movie was so that he finally understood the aspect of responsibility like in the comics. it makes more sense that he starts as that teenage rebel, then to a vengeful vigilante, to a man who finally understands his uncle's words and embraces his responsibilities.
@gent777
@gent777 10 лет назад
and responsibility is what he embraced when he understood that with criminals as powerful like the lizard or plentiful like the thieves and muggers he caught in the middle of the movie swarming over new york, he decided to use his power to help others instead of dealing with his own personal needs. so, what you're saying is that this movie would've been plausible if it he was shooting his web towards the sky, since it doesn't show where exactly the webs go, then some nitpicker like you would complain? if spidey bumped into a building, he would have to take a long ass time to recover and start swinging again, by which time, he wouldn't have made it to oscorp.
@gent777
@gent777 10 лет назад
***** Wrong. Responsibility is the basis of the Spiderman character and it's fitting for this movie, as it's not only the origin of how he physically becomes Spiderman, but also mentally. Also, this movie went out it's way to show how he became who he is in great details (i.e. building the web shooters and costume). The TV and Raimi movies set itself as silly from the get-go, so the audience has a much higher Suspension of Disbelief. This movie started on a more grim tone than your typical Spiderman story. This movie has a different level of Suspension of Disbelief than the other Spiderman series, so if it's not to your liking, then let's just drop this conversation and let bygones be bygones.

I cried so much at the cinema and almost screamed out loud “Why....!” at this scene, cruel of the Director to take her away from Spider-Man after all that he has been through in life because she is the only one that was precious to him. He stayed away to keep her safe yet she still ceased to exist after his efforts to let her focus on herself and dreams. I wonder whether she was meant to only be there to be the object of his affections over and over again and to serve as a motivation for him to fulfil his own potential BUT what about her? It is almost as if she can be easily replaced anyway, he should have never kept on “watching over” her because in the end it didn’t matter anyway, he isn’t god, he would have been better off praying for her and moving on to different women and ultimately forgetting about her existence. His obsession of trying to keep her safe does not serve any true purpose, in fact she became more unattainable and therefore he held on to being “there for her” but not really being there for her..it would have been better for him to let her go and just heal from it or kept in touch with via her friends with clear communication that it is because he truly cares about her but doesn’t see a realistic way of being with her.

1) maybe if peter was swinging correctly, he would've made it faster, but because of his injuries and the physics of swinging across low buildings not working like it does in the comics and cartoons (which i'm glad they paid attention to in this movie). 2) maybe because there's not that many people near oscorp, so the real traffic jam was where peter was looking down.

The guy who wrote the music was also the same guy who wrote the music for Titanic.

Exactly! Here I am seeing you guys understanding the whole point of this movie while there's this other troll named "unknown unknown" who just doesn't get what made this movie good. The bridge scene = Peter starting to understand what being Spiderman means This = Peter understanding the physical aspects of Spiderman Uncle Ben's message = Peter truly understanding what being Spiderman means
