I played Changeling the Lost one time. My character was a man who had been taken by the Fae during the 1940s and by the time he found his way back through the Hedge it was the present day. He had been made into a Darkling during his time in fairyland, and was forced by his mistress to find or track down things or people through an endless city. He struggles to adjust to present day conditions and works as a detective out of a dimly lit office, and any time he's filmed or photographed his image always appears in black and white, even if it's colour film or photograph. I'd been watching a lot of Film Noir movies at the time and that's what gave me the inspiration.
The more I learn about changing the lost and the dreaming the more i see how a fusion of the two can happen the true fey from lost can be what chased out the fey in the dreaming
Dude your world of darkness videos are quite literally the best on RU-vid. You get straight to the point and simply talk about the lore. Seriously man thank you so much for all of your hard work you put into your videos. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
My favorite character in all of my White Wolf games was a Gristlegrinder Ogre. Sometimes one has to become a brute to keep the pretty little things alive (and eat some fuckers).
Personally i think i prefer the kiths of changeling the dreaming but i do also think i prefer some of the story elements of the lost like instead of being a reincarnation of the fae you're someone who was cursed by the fae and thats one of my favorite character archetypes just a normal person having a really REALY weird day getting caught up in whatever story of adventure or politics you've been sucked into Hoping i can get some people to do a game where maybe i can combine the two
Greetings Lazar. I look forward to your next world of darkness video, Old or New, World or Chronicles. I recently found that both greater groups of Changelings in both Dreaming and Lost are called Courts. In Dreaming, they are divided between Seelie and Unseelie. The Lost a have the Seasonal, Directional, Diurnal, Transitional, the Rose Courts and Courts of Creation in 2nd edition. Good luck on future videos.
Hey Lazar thank you for detailed videos. I'd like to ask you if it's possible for you to make a video about "Week of Nightmares" and it's effects on all the different games in wod settings. It seems like it touches on so much more than vtm, like it has effects on werewolf, kuejin, fae, wraith, demon etc. I think it's a very important event and deserve a video on it's own.
Can I request some more V:tM lore from you? Your voice and presentation is suberb, I listen to these while trying to sleep and they really help. Thanks.
