ill look forward to abberation "if" the crashing will be fixed before hand and after its been this way for quiet awhile now the game not being playable rlly on any maps on singleplayer or host-nonededicated and i've said my words in the ark discord and no one is answering me that being Dollie or ect: and i get the reason why cause of alot of silly clowning and trolling people on there along with the seemingly legit people saying bugs they've found it is increaseingly frustrateing for me to see and for me to deal with this issue ingame and no ik i ain't the only one but still. i am just part of the majority i guess.
@@cjlarge420 I don't really care if the map is glitchy and unreliable-after all, it's Ark and this still can be fixed later-but I do mind if it appears generic and uninteresting, like the center. All they need to do is stick to the original version and avoid replicating the previous beige ground clutter assets. However, only time will tell.
@@monshroom3273 It very easily could if, as someone else said, they make it generic. Take the love out of it, take the mysterious unworldly vibe from it. Stick to the same colors pallets, keep it vibrant, keep it unique, give it the higher quality textures and light UE5 gives potential for, boom you got yourself a winner
They need to bring back the option to chose which maps you download because there is no way I’m downloading 500 GB of ARK to my hard drive again after they promised ASA would make the game less heavy.
Honestly I am really Really pump? For aberration, it's one of my favorite maps and favorite area. It's really fun. I enjoyed it so much in the old version in the old version.I had a lot of fun On aberration, it was really fun and there were good areas to build bases from. And honestly, I'm really looking forward. Playing It again. Although I am hoping It doesn't have problems like in the old version because honestly, it did a little issues. Especially my version on the xbox One Like back in the day I Like, for example, one of the second artifacts in 1 of the caves wouldn't spawn in. I think that's it honestly. I mean, I haven't played aberration in a long time. And that was the only one I know, so hopefully everything is fixed and well organized like it did in the old version and I'm really excited what to do on it. But anyways, I am really excited for aberration
The robot will imprint on the creatures. AMD's implementation gave a nice upgrade to the grip on the map. We will have new mushrooms and new recipes. The Airship and robot will be weightless.
I think the lighter wood colors are because Abb is so dark. The brighter colors would help some players find their structures. I have several friends who hate how dark the structures looked on the map and how it was difficult to see in some places.
@@mistplayzop Yeah that's not what I mean, aside from resource there's nothing to explore, no caves separate from the main system, almost no evidence of humanity or life in general, it's not ideal to navigate, not enough warnings about when day is coming so you can get tf outta there. Most of all I just want the areas to be larger, or connected... I love drop hunting up there, it's pretty easy considering no one wants to go there, but they should.. It's way to empty if you compare it to extinctions "wasteland" which realistically covers almost the entire planet.
The “new look” for the cliff platform is very clearly just taken from the wood and stone building structures, not a new texture like the stone is just what’s on the stone floors, at least before we had something unique, now all of it is gonna look the same, wood looks way too much like regular Home Depot plywood like it always has, the map is probably gonna have all those desert rocks and I think we’re gonna find that a lot of the assets and textures have been dummed down because they just don’t have all the assets they had in Ase, that’s exactly what happened to the center, it’s why the ice palace is made out of snow now, and is also why the center looks so similar to the island, cause it’s using the exact same shit, I don’t expect this dlc to be any different, there is no chance for Asa Abberation to be better than Ase Abberation and I think people just have to accept it
Honestly, if we are getting a flying blimp, I’d even prefer if we don’t get the DLC at launch. All I’m hoping is it doesn’t end up undermining the entire map gameplay philosophy.
@@mcjoelio-gb Same. It's just silly when the entire map is built around no actual flying. It's part of what makes it fun/interesting in my opinion. Even Skiffs don't come out until Genesis 1 obviously.
That was talked about a lot when that image came out a few months ago. Not much point in talking about it more until next year when Extinction releases.
Sick of seeing comments about "Wish devs would fix their game rather than more content". Im sorry but the game is playable.. its not totally broken and there are a few bugs and things to work through. The game isnt bloody broken.
I just lost 500 hours worth of creatures, mutations and resources because my mods were force Uninstalled. I check daily prior to logging in to make sure they are up to date and enabled. I logged in and structures were just missing even though the mods said they were enabled. This happened when they introduced the power rangers mod which I did not even purchase. Just because it's not broken for you doesn't mean it's not fucking broken.

yea, i have been receiving flashing lights in the middle of the ocean and random light spots where the sun shows on my screen, even tho 5 meters away i was completely fine. the map is so bugged. they should've honestly reworked ASE and worked in everything, map by map. it sucks because this was such a good game with an amazing concept ruined by greedy company, FSG!!!
@@vxenon67 PVP this isn't a problem, Unofficials don't allow this totally and on official, why are you playing outside of a tribe that doesn't own that server. You're likely to be wiped. PVE however yes, I don't understand why PVE is bound by PVP rulesets. Game should be balanced for both sides separately and it wouldn't even be 'hard'. There's already a PVE setting. The game is written to know when it is PVE or PVP, PVE balancing isn't nearly as complex as PVP needs to be so nobody on the PVE side would complain about a slightly over tuned dino or feature. But they certainly would with a heavily nerfed one that doesn't benefit them in any capacity.

All the map remasters are amazing. Don’t EVER listen to whiny fan base who cry literally about everything…. ASA is far superior to ASE. The cheating on ASA is exactly how it was on ASE , SnailGames/ Tea Tribe have sold the exploits to the game, under the table, from the first game and clearly they are making money off people who want to cheat and ruin ASA …. It’s always been like this….
@@14soccerplayer1 it’s only the players who don’t know how to deal with aimbotters , my ol megatribe slayed aimbotters …regardless of how many came ….. cheaters can easily be defeated but not too many players are capable of working together 😜
Thank gawd they spent the time to redesign that assrts for abberation instead of fixing the current bugs for asa. Consistency is the key, and they take thier consistent no fucks given to bugs seriously
You don't really know how game design works. People that work on maps, work on assets, are not the same group of people that do the bug fixing regarding glitches etc. Would you rather have a content drought for a 12 months to 'fix' 99% of everything in the game currently and allow the game and community to straight die more than it already has, or proceed with content promised and fix new and old bugs over time as they always have? Asset redesign, and map work is crucial and they've done a decent job with little we have seen so far.
