It is GOOD to hear Close to the Yes come around, everything is in sync with Paula having so much confidence singing. They all gel so magnificently. Its a pleasure to hear them!
I'm a Yes fan since 1970. They were the first concert I went to for TOTO. But Close To The Yes captures evey aspect of the original Yes, but Paula really brings out the power with her vocals. Jon is amazing, a beautiful voice. And the band is on her level. Brava and Bravo.
Bravo!! This is such a difficult song to play live with the odd meter at the beginning. The whole band needs to be in sync with the drummer and take his cue. Excellent cover!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
wouha hou...!!!!
Very good cover. Idolphin why surprised a Spanish band? Latin blood always has good rhythm. I married a Spanish girl, she moves like a whisper in the dark and her timing is always perfect! This is a GRAT cover, thanks guys
@@RadagastBrown420 I meant the one tour it was attempted, they used tapes for most sounds we hear except bass, then played and sang a little over the top of it. I love using tapes and am not trying to say anything bad about that at all, backing help is fine to me, in fact I welcome it, but in the context of the video and my comment, no one, including Yes has tried to really play this song live. Theres 19 vocals I think they said alone, and a lot of Trevor Horn studio work that it needs that cant be done in a normal instrumented rock band like Yes is for instance.
Great players, vocalist is passable, but a little weak. Just being a female with naturally higher register doesn't always hit the mark. Jon Anderson's voice has a dryer tone, but it's full and robust. Good tribute band though
