Thanks to your excellent work and video I was able to overcome my doubts to realize this work. Therefore knowing the procedure to follow I was able to change the silentblocs easily and quickly. Best regards from France.
Hi mate, how’s things? I know you’ve sold this car now but where did you get the sub frame rubber kit from if you can remember? I’m about to do this on mine. Cheers from Glen in Adelaide
Hi, Glen Pelican Parts in the U.S. you might try to think of what else you need as the postage is steep. Also because of covit it takes ages now for the delivery to arrive. Cheers, Paul.
Did you run into an issue with the engine's fan blades contacting the fan shroud when you lowered the sub frame? Did I hear a Parrot in the background at 2:08?
Hi, David I had no problem with the fan blades & the shroud and yes plenty of parrots at East Hills. We have just moved to Bathurst so we'll hear different birds LOL... cheers, Paul.
@@riffraffjazz, well I started this job and when I lower the subframe, it does not drop low enough to get the bushings out. It needs perhaps an additional inch or so. Did you have to pry the subframe down a bit lower than it naturally dropped. And could the small engine shocks be in play?
@@BigBangGamers Hi, Have you got the car high enough off the ground, if so you might need to get a pinch bar and leaver the sub frame down a bit & pull the mount out. I also thought the engine shocks might need to be sprung, but they don't. Sorry about the delay replying, cheers, Paul.
