why you should not use the suction back reed on low temperature? only in medium to high temperature, and if I use for a working pressure of 15 to 10 psi. thank you for your attention. i am Brazilian technician.
What could be cause this compressor ampere keep on hiking..let say it start with 39 Amp with in 15 minutes it become 56 Amp ...and the compressor trip on overload.
Hey brother can u tell me about Carlyle 06 E compressor head replacement right procedure when em changing metal gasket with complete head assembly then after replace creating sound from head due to becker n suction valve but i hv tried many times but couldn't succeed the old one discharge valve broken from top so than it was easily taken the suction gas

nisw1918 you need an oil pump to add oil. Let the compressor run a while before adding oil. On an 06E compressor the oil level should be at the bottom 1/3 of the sight glass. It can be at the bottom and the level is still ok. 06D compressors should be about 1/2 sight glass. If the sight glass is low the oil is probably in the circuit. Do not add oil until you confirm it’s not in the circuit. The oil will coat the evaporator tubes so the refrigerant will not evaporate properly causing the compressor to flood back. Run the head pressure up to get the oil back to the compressor before adding oil. I have removed more oil than I have put it in. A system with too much oil will kill the compressor.
