Change your needles when you need to. If you're experiencing thread breaks from a bur or if you just need a different size needle for the job, this video will show you how to correctly swap a new needle for an old one.
I am baffled. I bought a new to me Bernina E16 in December. I cleaned it, rethreaded it and changed one needle that was bent. It sewed a test pattern ok,. I find the OS software hard to use. mine doesn't update like when I select a different needle....frustrating...sometimes it stitches the selected needle and other times it stitches the previously stitched needle. My main problem today is needle 16. The thread kept breaking. I thought perhaps it was the thread...it was black...so I ran a different color and the thread kept breaking. I then changed the needle....after spending an hour or so trying to get the needle in the right position....I thought I had it...now it takes a couple of stitches and the thread shreds...I don't know what else to do....needle 7 stitched correctly, so I know the bobbin in ok. I know that there is a learning curve...I started on a babylock Alliance, but I am really struggling....I waste so much time just on the software....and then I am having this problem on #16.... Any suggestions? I am looking into training and a service call, but I am in the Kansas City region and I can't find anyone close to me...
I’m having problem with my needle I try putting 5 degree but thread break every 30 seconds. Would it be okay to just leave the needle straight ? Cause I can’t seem to get it at the 5degree
