Thanks for the heads up. It seems quite a straight forward machine to work on and has been used to collect all of our leaves this autumn and is still doing well. I will check the blades out when I service it over winter.

It's a plastic fan blade with a metal shredder mounted in front of it. I can honestly tell you that we have used ours for 2 consecutive seasons without issue 👍

@@JimmyTheMower That’s fantastic, thanks for your help. I think I will go for this one. My old one didn’t have a metal shredder blade on it and just used the fan blade as the shredder. Poor design. No, it's designed to leave sand and gravel on the floor and pick up the grass I'm afraid

Unfortunately there isn't a bigger bag. To be honest with you, when this size bag is half full of shredded leaves it is very heavy.
