Just a heads up that if you change the Google Ad Sense account associated with your RU-vid channel, any earnings that were made with the previous Ad Sense account will NOT be transferred to your new Ad Sense account. You will have to CLOSE your old Ad Sense account and if the amount you earned was over their cancellation limit (which is currently $10) then they will send you that money in 6-8 weeks ish to the bank account associated with that Ad Sense account. I just got my RU-vid pay out for my closed Individual Ad Sense account, and have been receiving my RU-vid payments from my new Business Ad Sense account, so it's all good now! Thank you again for making this video! It was super helpful and exactly what I needed!!

Thank you SO MUCH for this step by step tutorial! This is EXACTLY what I needed. I had my RU-vid account linked to my Individual Adsense account and tried submitting my business tax forms, and Google just told me that the names had to match, with no other helpful info. Their chat support was also not helpful and their support documents tell you to DELETE your individual account to change it to a business account, but the way you did it makes so much more sense (create a second business account and then change the linked adsense account in RU-vid). I am so glad I found this video! I completed all the steps I can do so far and am now waiting for the email to verify my identity, and then will have to wait for another PIN to be mailed to me. Thank you again!!!

@Ibelieveinbigfootproject hey it has been some time but all I know is that I did not loose my revenue. Once I changed account, for monetization YT took a day or two max and once I got monetized I had to wait for pin for tax submissions. Hope this helps

This might be a dumb question but do you actually need to do this? Whats to stop you rooting your personal adsense to your business bank account and continuing to receive payments? Will this cause a problem with tax filing if not completed?

Not a dumb question. While it might be technically possible to route your personal AdSense payments to a business bank account I would never try this, it can create complications, especially during tax filing. Mixing personal and business income can lead to accounting confusion, potential tax issues, and difficulties in tracking expenses accurately. Experts have recommended me to maintain separate accounts for personal and business finances to ensure clarity and compliance with tax regulations. If you plan to use your RU-vid earnings for your business, consider updating your AdSense account to reflect your business information properly. Always consult tax expert to stay on right side of law.

No once you monetize your YT account with the change, in this case change from Individual to Business(In my case it happened within 24-48 hours) the money started to show. You only can withdraw after PIN verification. In my case I lost maybe 1-2 days of revenue. Hope this helps

That’s correct. Your new Adsense account can only be linked once you convert YT to business accounts-go through Adsense approval and then link that to new Adsense account. Just follow the video and you will not go wrong

Any ad money which has been made is paid either to your previous account or your new account. When you go for monetization of channel again for that period since your channel will be out of monetization for those days. In my case this happened super fast and maybe I lost only a days revenue. Hope this helps

Hello so I verified my pin with the letter from google I received in the mail. On my RU-vid “earn” tab, it says no action needed. I didn’t input any bank info yet… do I need to hit the threshold before I can submit bank info? Under the “payment info” tab on Adsense it doesn’t give me an option to input bank info. Is it a waiting game now?

There is no restrictions you can update bank account info now. No action needed is for the reason that they have your tax information.

What you have in Individual account would be paid to your bank. I did not loose any revenue

I finally got the PIN and entered it, but now it's asking me to link my site and doesn't recognize that I have linked it to the youTube channel. When I got to RU-vid "earn" it lists the new LLC adsense account number but I'm not being prompted for bank account info--I'm so frustrated I'm hoping I can figure it out otherwise I'll have to contact google and they take forever@@canadatriedandtestedoriginal

Great Video, but once completing the form in the uk you need to complete another form Have a PDF, PNG, or JPEG of a tax status document, such as a tax residency certificate, tax exemption document, or articles of incorporation Make sure the document you upload is clear and, if applicable, in color Confirm in Settings you’re using the right payments profile - your tax info will be applied to the payments profile in use, do you know what business document will be accepted please

Hey I need to verify my account but I don’t think it will send me the pin until I reach the $100 threshold. When I tried to change Adsense account in RU-vid studio (I attempted to log into new business Adsense created) it says oops something went wrong. The “verify your account” tab on my new business Adsense account just says “you need to verify” but doesn’t provide me a way how to do so. What do I do?

Hi when setting Adsense account there is no threshold. Can you check if your gmail account is open in another window which might conflict with Adsense account (if different gmail).

@@canadatriedandtestedoriginal I do have a minimum threshold of $100 that needs to be met.. i can’t adjust it lower than $100 only make it go higher. I reached out to them and waiting for response. You’re saying you could’ve verified without meeting a threshold? I’m in the USA.. does that make it any different?
