Changing broken and stuck rear wiper arm. Front wipers replacement. Hood handle broke again (C5 X7) 

I bought new wipers when I first got the car 7 1/2 years ago as they were not cleaning very well. BUT I have never fitted them. I just cleaned the wiper rubbers on the fitted ones with washing up liquid on a cloth. I clean them this way once a year in the spring, but wipe them with a micro fiber cloth each time the car is cleaned. The reason they stop cleaning/judder is a build up of oils and dirt from the road, if left this also causes the rubber to perish (harden & split). The MOT test center was surprised when I told them that they were the original wipers from 2015 as they'd commented that it was nice to see someone that replaced them so regularly. the front wiper passenger side is 560 mm long. You can put 660mm long one instead I think . the filed of a wiping area would be then perfect in that car ?

This is very helpful. I've tried several "pullers" without success. What type are you using here?

I have issues with my wipes. The driver side is going too far up and hitting the beam. I tried readjusting it by removing it and installing it again a bit lower, but still the same problem. Ive noticed sometimes it works normally and does not go too far up, but most of the time is. Any ideas?
