Changing Manual Shift Transmission Fluid On A Ford 2000 Tractor 

What type transmission fluid do you use?

Be careful not to cross thread the drain plug it becomes a real problem

I had the same problem with the fluid level being over full. The 2 shift sticks are supposed to have rubber boots over them to keep water out. I bought a set off of eBay for around $8 and haven’t had anymore problems.

Bill, I enjoyed your video! You right to the point and the videos are great. I have a 1966 Fordd 3000 with manual steering and I need to know how to check if it needs any fluid. any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thank you.

Good video. My Ford 2000 starts to hop when I lift the rotary mower. Any ideas. Filled the oil.

Oil level is high because is has water mixed with it.
