houston bbg It’s been a couple of months now so, it’s fine. The only thing that was bad for me, was when I first got it done and, that whole week I couldn’t eat stuff I usually would. Plus, you have to make sure you clean it good also.

Cayla H Honestly it did hurt a little but, what hurt the most was after about 30 mins when I got home and it began to swell up. That’s when you should put ice on it. The only thing I didn’t like tho really was the healing process. That whole week, I couldn’t eat the usual things that I would and I had to suck on ice like every day. If you can get thru that then, you’ll be fine. Also I really don’t know abt the age stuff, ig it just depends on where you live. Where I live, you had to be 18 if you wanted to get it done by yourself, so that wasn’t a problem but, any other age I think you have to have an adult with you.

@@abigailmcginnis7509 no it's just an unusal sensation when you pull the bar through your toungue for the first time but the first time is always weird I've had mine for 3 years and I swear I never get used to the feeling of it

About a month to month 1/2, but it feels healed after a couple weeks.

I think it is from the swelling when you first get it done, I’m pretty sure it goes away after a few months tho but idk

Which piercing? Nose, navel, tongue?

But my tips for changing any kind of piercing is to always clean the piercing site before and after you change it & be gentle/patient (especially with nose piercings)

I’d wait until it’s fully healed to change it, but it’s pretty easy just make sure you use mouthwash before you take it out and change it (just unscrew the ball and pull it out)

you can brush it just brush around it

there are plenty of ways to brush your tongue, i got mine pierced about less than a week ago and as long are your careful, brushing around your tongue is pretty easy. there are also other ways that can help like doing mouthwash/saltwater rinses daily which help to get out bacteria while also speeding up the healing process☺️

Because one video I watched the piercer said she got it done but she was annoyed that it was always touching the roof of her mouth so she took it off

Mine does touch the roof of my mouth and that CAN get annoying but idk maybe I’ve just gotten too used to it, I do have a indent from where it sits on the roof of my mouth 😂 it gets painful only if I’m unintentionally pushing my tongue into the roof of my mouth but I’ve kinda trained my mouth not to do that anymore 🤣

Is it harder to talk and eat with it

@@Inrussian it’s only hard to eat & talk while it’s still healing, but once’s it’s 100% healed you can eat and talk like normal, you may have a lisp for a week or two while you adjust to it though
