I’m 72 now. Just a little bit less than 2 years into HRT. Began wearing women’s clothes exclusively 6 years ago - although the women’s clothes I wear are very easily taken for men’s clothes: jeans and a button up shirt. I’ve been covertly cross-dressing for over 50 years. In a recent conversation with my (thankfully supportive) brother I was commenting about having to draw in my almost nonexistent eyebrows. Your comments about mistakes in plucking early-on reminded me of how my eyebrows became as they are. About 50 years ago, I began trying to subtly shape my eyebrows. Of course, I started plucking from the top. Eventually, I figured out that I should be plucking the bottom. Ultimately, there was not much left. So now I have become rather dependent on an eyebrow pencil. You look marvelous. I really enjoyed your video. Wish they had the internet 50 years ago.
This might sound weird, but you made me realize that I don't have to grow my hair out for years to be feminine. Honestly it's really making me consider transitioning
it's all up to you you have all the time in the world to decide whether or not transitioning is something you want I'm 18 and I've been trying to battle dysphoria on my own before transitioning, simply because I want to take my time!!! Nobody is pushing you to go fast
As someone who procrastinated my transition for much longer than I should've, you should do it. Obviously, there's no rush, but it's worth considering that 99% of people who are considering transitioning will transition. People who are comfortable with their assigned gender at birth don't ever consider transitioning. I used to worry about transitioning because I didn't want to be an "ugly girl," and seriously, it's not worth worrying about. No happiness in the world will ever compare to the joy I felt when I started to see the effects of HRT.
I love this, im a Melbourne based trans girl and I’m 6 months into my transition and have constant issues with my eyebrows, as well as having quite a low brow bone, thanks for the help. ❤
not a trans girl but I do have PCOS and am sometimes self concious about the way my forehead looks. found this very helpful, especially the advice to check in a couple days after changing something and seeing where to go from there. thank you
Been looking for something like this by someone who clicks, I can actually understand your thought process in your content (TikTok and even here) and it makes such a difference. Thank you.❤
Ahh I’m really glad that you’ve found my videos helpful ☺️ I’ve been hesitant to do them for a while because I feel like I’m a bit scattered in the way I explain things so I’m glad at least you can follow it ahah
I LOVE THIS!! You're so gorgeous, and we need more videos like this. It may seem so simple but these are the little things that can start changing someones life!!🥰
Ooh bonus tip to check if a hairs going to leave a gap if you pluck it you can fold it down with the tweezers to see if it’s noticeable ☺️ RU-vid gang :’)
for someone who does her makeup and eyebrows as capably as you do it's cute to see how nervous you get while doing it and talking about it, and even more so that you leave it in the edit and allow yourself to be vulnerable like that. Appreciate the tips, I've actually been working on my brows very slowly over the past few weeks just like you said, just plucking a little bit off the bottom at a time. Never thought to brush them down and cut them though, and I still haven't made them as thin as you have... and only just started cutting into that monobrow too. Looking forward to going further with your tips!
Pierbi clone This video was exactly what I’ve been looking for! Your suggestions at the beginning answer the questions I’ve had that have kept me from starting this part of my transition. Thank you!
I am not really on tiktok and you are literally the only one that I follow and watch. I hope you can do yourself a place on RU-vid and hopefully you will publish more here. Thanks you for helping me in my transition
This really, REALLY helped me. First time properly trimming my eyebrows and not just excessive tweezing, honestly I don't know why i never thought of it but just didn't. Thank you so much for posting this!
Just discovered your channel and just wanted to say how pretty you are! I'm only a year in and some days are definitely tough but you're really inspiring! Thanks for the tips as well 🖤
Thank you so very much for this tutorial. I'm still vrey early in my transition and each time I try to cure my dysphoria with a gender swaping filter, my eyes and brows seems to be the "problem". So thank you for your video. Also you look so good ands kind, love from France ✨✨✨
thank youuuu, the video and the hints really help my adhd brain delete the "wall of doubt" and actually do stuff in a comfortable pace I'll save it to maybe watch again later (pierbi clone)
Dunno about the Pierbi Clone but I am absolutely thankful for the video. I have been thinking about tackling my eyebrows for so long. Having your video thrown at my feed by the algorithm feels like a sign
Thanks for the help and advice for a new egg, I'm really enjoying the experience of learning all this and experimenting and videos like yours really help. Also another left handed adhder right here hehe
Hi Sydney! I see that you haven't posted in 8 months on here, but I subbed anyway 😊 hope to see you and more of your content here again soon. I'm not a trans girlie, (I'm non-binary afab), but I still like to see and learn things or tips even if their use doesn't apply to me. Your advice seems very helpful and I like how you explained the how, why and what of finding the eyebrows that conveys and suits what you wish to achieve 👍 Your aesthetic is also very pretty 😊✨
Sydney on RU-vid, my life is complete!! This video is so good, I don’t think people realize how hard the editing and talking in front of the camera is, and you killed it!! My fav eyebrow cheat is using an at home wax strip and cutting them down into tiny pieces and using those to wax your brows. Cuts down on my brow time by like 50%
Thank you so much 🥺💕 a lot of the struggle was this was because I was using natural light and it was cloudy so the lighting was changing every 10 seconds.. I even had to key frame exposure and contrast changes for some of the clips 😭 I do not trust myself with wax in the slightest but I’m glad it helps! I just try and do a lil maintenance plucking every morning so it’s not a thing I have to dedicate specific time to~
I am doing mine love it being a female just coming out more female stuff unnoticed Fondation lipstick so people don't see it only me ..❤I go to a shop to do mine ❤
That's a really good first video! Feels good to know I've been doing it right 😂 Also that dress lead me on a google rabbithole it's really cute. Oh yeah Pierbi clone also.
The algorithm on just got me to this video right at a time where I've been looking to stop just thinking about doing something and actually do something. Thanks for making this. Also, has anyone ever told you that you're a Pierbi clone?
Finally got to watch ur lovely video :3 Love ur content already on TikTok and i will also love to see u here more often :D Even tho i didnt really need to watch eyebrow tutorials (already got a friend of mine to help me with them, they're literally the cutest persons i know) but it was still fun watching u struggle. I feel with u, adhd and being left handed are intense. Also whats up with the pierbi clone? Like i know pierbi but wha? >_
Thank you so much 🥰 hoping to figure out something similar but different from TikTok here so they each have their place 😌 Oh we just have the same black and red bat dress :’)
I've found recently that fluffing the eyebrows through styling them and combing them upwards and outwards with gel (which is a trend at the moment) also opens up the eye a bit more, gives the appearance of a higher and fuller eyebrow, and feminizes... But I'm not sure if I'm right about that... Any thoughts?!
Lately I've been paying attention to women's eyebrows in public and everywhere else as well and I've come to a general conclusion that most dont have a clue how to properly take care of their eyebrows. Or maybe i just live in the jungle 🫤. Thanks for all your very helpful advice and techniques.
I have stupid mono brow almost but I feel like if I do anything about it someone will ask or notice then I’ll be forced into a situation where I might have to come out
Plenty of men pluck the hairs between their eyebrows too! I did it for years and no one suspected anything, so you should be safe. I even subtly shaped the tops and bottoms... still no one knows!
Pre hrt mtf. I am looking to start early 2024. I enjoy running marathons, though I have always felt/ appeared large in my mid section/ wait. Guessing it’s probably worth loosing as much of that as possible before bulking when my levels have balanced out on hrt?
Within reason losing sins weight before starting can be beneficial but absolutely make sure you’re doing it in a healthy and stable way - trans people are extremely prone to developing eating disorders and we’ve gotta check in with ourselves regularly to make sure we’re not doing things that are detrimental to our wellbeing 💕 good luck!!!
there is no secret or one way to feminize yourself. the way to look the best for you, (if for you that is looking as femme as possible) really depends on your specific body + face. im saying this because it sorta sucks to imply theres one way or a best way to look more feminine.
Hey beautiful 😊 I probably have a million questions, and im not sure if any of them are worth asking. I have a lot of self-doubt issues, and im mildly curious if you have any recommendations on things i can do(my pfp is what i tend to do) Also left-handed trans girl here ;p
