Changing out the Cabin Air Filter in a Bronco Sport (2021-2024)

I have a 2021 BS and at my free oil change-thank you SW Ford for your 2 year Service Promise, I was told it was time to change out the cabin air filter. FYI-The cabin air filter is the same in all models of the Bronco Sport 2021-2024. I am just over 22,000 miles and it was time to change it out. I will say it was a bit dirty. Instead of letting the dealer do it, I told them I would handle it. It was not too hard honestly. The tabs are easy to push in to lower the glove box down. To undo the glove box support is a little harder the very first time. You might need a screwdriver to help get it off the first time. It took a little more effort than expected to get it to come loose. Once loose, changing out the filter was easy. Just make sure you install the new air filter with the same directional air flow. The air flow points down. I was surprised at how easy it was. Not too bad for someone mechanically challenged 😂 ! I bought one from Amazon and it was actually sturdier than the OEM one. The price was $11.99 on Amazon. There is KN filter option for $44. Maybe this helps someone!

Pretty happy with the Falkens over the Pirelli's. They were not bad tires but they looked like passenger tires and the tread wear was not very good. I have 22,000 miles and there was not much tread left.

Thanks for the video! Ford wanted $100 for this. I'm not much of a car guy, but with the economy the way it is, I plan on taking more initiative to do some of my own maintenance (if I'm able to). Thanks to you, I was able to do it myself for a little over $30 🍻

I don’t know how this got in my algorithm, but thanks for the reminder to change my CAF 😂 Tires look nice, shame afaik 18s are the biggest you can get without changing the body of the horse. I preferred TOYO wildtraks III… if you end up finding a tire swing or a neat way to store a spare besides that crappy hole in the trunk, holler at ya boy. Once I get a cattle guard on mine, I’ll have to look for nifty ideas. Till the next algorithm meeting pal

Appreciate you watching. I looked at the Toyo as well as the KO2s. Hoping the Falkens will hold up better than the Pirelli’s. They do have an aftermarket tire swing for the Bronco Sport. Here is one. dirtcomusa.com/products/hitch-mounted-high-clearance-tire-carrier-swing-out
