I'm about to try this, and your video is an outstanding primer on the process. One item that I think might make disassembly easier (if I'm looking at the part correctly) is it looks like there is a parking brake tension adjuster attached by springs to the PB shoes. If you back that down, would it make it easier to remove the rotor?
Thanks man. Yeah I basically went off your last video (for the front breaks) opened up the back breaks, and got up to the part where the huge star bolt stares back at me. I'm going to order the bit set you mentioned in this video (and in the comments area :P ) but until the part arrives, how bad is it if I have new pads on old rotors with lips?
Do not put new pads on those rotors. They will eat into the new pads. Your best bet is to leave the old ones on until you're able to put the new pads on. By the way, you might need a buddy to help you break those bolts loose. That & some WD40, that's what I did.
