Just a quick description of how difficult it is to change the front wheel bearing on a 2008 Saturn Vue. You must arm yourself with the right tools, a lot of lubricant and a good amount of patience in order to get this job done.
Im not likely to break the aluminum knuckle am i? Getting ready to change mine on an 08 vue. I have a chisel and a BFH, hopefully mine isn't so corroded. Ya right..
Not too bad.. I did end up missing with the BFH and wrecking the threads on the axle. Thankfully the axle was $70 and super easy to change.. Thank you for the video and the enquiry.
@@rogerlimoseth4790 My condolences on the threads. I guess the BFH was not in auto pilot. Nice to hear you fixed the front hub bearing. Got to fix the babes machine this week. Have a bit of hesitation on starting the job. Good day too.
You don't change a bearing out on this... YOU CHANGE THE ENTIRE HUB ASSEMBLY. This hub assembly is factory pressed together. To disassemble it properly you need a 12 TON PRESS with various accessories. This guy probably damaged the ABS sensor not to mention totally destroying the entire hub.
Thanks for your negative reply Ajax. Of course, you wouldn’t know anything about helping others on RU-vid Would you? How many helpful videos have you produced? Raised by wolves were you?
