Thank man for the Video, I've never changed oil either, but cant afford to have it changed at the dealership anymore so this video has been a great help for me, thanks for taking the time to show us how easy it is and what we need to remember to do.. I own a 2015 Tri glide 103
You can also scrape that off using the edge of a nickel. It won't scratch your Chrome. Try a little spot first to see how you like it. Works like a charm!
Great video, I have a H-D Tri and enjoying riding it too. Yes, things can be expensive when having your bike service at the dealership. However; I have added many mods to my bike and installed most of them myself after watching various videos on Y-Tube.
Please believe me I am a new rider and they are plenty of new riders every month every year that would love to see videos from guys like yourself and me that’s trying to do some things to save money
Additional comment - I found it is a big saving if you change your own oil; which is an j easy ob. I changed all three oils on my trike for under $140.00 This included the filter and "O" rings. I did use a K N oil filter. Also, I discovered that many riders usually change all three oils every 5,000 miles or once a year.. Harley in their previous service manual ( 2003 manual) recommended that you change all three oils every 5000 miles. Invest in your bike properly and save more over the years.
You are absolutely right I’m getting ready to go downstairs now and change my transmission and my flush out my brake since the snow is on the ground give me something to do
I watched a video that the teflon tape had gotten into the system and blocked up an oil line causing damage to the engine. HD does not use tape but O ring only. JS
Hey brother I like what you have done with your bike. I just wanted to know that I bought a 2020-Harley-Davidson-TRI Glide Ultra with the 114. She only had 107miles on her. I've put 14inch handle bars with heated grips and a Rekluse Auto Cluch. What did it cost you for the Sage One if you don't mind me asking?
Or while the pipes are still hot, lightly use your 0000 steel wool and wipe it right off. Comes off faster while hot. I keep the steel wool in tour pack to use after riding.
