The pivot defines the center of a mesh for which rotation and scaling occur. It also represents the location of your mesh. In this video, I'm gonna show you how to change it.

i hate how unreal deals with object origins i can bring my mesh into any software and the object origin is the same as the way it was exported soon as i bring it to ureal it could end up anywhere on screen and i have to go and alter something that never should of been change in the first place

It can be a little bit tricky at first. But once you get the hang of it, it's actually easy to understand why the pivot changes.
