Changing the power steering pump on a D3(2004) Audi a8 4.2 

Loud "whine" sound, and resistance when trying to turn the wheel.

That can make things easier or it could take twice as long. The way we did it we didn’t have to remove a whole lot. Just jacked it up onto jack stands and went to work. I hope our video helps you in some way.

We got the pump from RockAuto.com. It was an aftermarket ULTRA-POWER pump. That part number is 21191 The OEM interchange number is 4E0145155N. After tax and shipping, it was $97. Unfortunately, I don't remember how long this job took.

This is my first import I work in a shop and have for years I'm taking that bumper off or jacking up the motor I don't do well in spaces that tight

It really isn’t that tight. You just gotta use the eyes on your fingers to get some of the bolts.
