place your felhunter out in the open and on stay, this will force melee to stay in the open aswell and you just hard cast on melee. in nagrand for example with warriors and rogues i place my pet near center and force melee to either pick and choose between me or my pet. if my pet gets low i just COE los and resummon. if you keep doing this you will win the long term fight against other dps healing teams.

In Wrath health funnel gives a decent damage reduction, the pet is way easier to heal and keep alive in wrath. Sure in bs it can die but thats a major cooldown commited by the warrior and probly not even worth it most of the time. Locks have more mobility and cc and can port back or up the arena surface like be bridge to summon the pet, which makes a major difference. Trust me from someone that played lock in wrath and tbc alot, wrath is just more balanced and fun overall; you cannot compare it like you did. Even if it means lock is not gonna be one of the few exclusively viable top tier classes in the arena(like rmp druid lock in tbc, but in wotlk every class has acces to an s-tier spec), the frustration to play the game as a lock is definately not as high. I could go on about less rng bullshit in general or spellpen contributing to the pet, opposed to tbc, but i just wanted to adress your point with the frustration of a dying pet.

@@deathknight_tbc225 the damage reduction isn't significant enough though sadly, especially going into tier 10, where pve gear will have a greater impact in arena. In most cases in one switch a pet will die in about 3 seconds or less.

@@felipefurtado2156 health funnel in wotlk does way more to save the pet than tbc, are you running succu or what that ur pet gets oneshot, but even then u have way more control with that pet and you can still get an easy resummon in half the arenas like blades edge and dalaran with port, in lordaeron you can also port in the wall and u will have way easier time getting new pet than tbc you should have watched a great lock on AT and see how they do it with their port placement
