I love all of your "book" videos. Some of them are about favorites that I have read many times, and your summaries are amazingly good distillations that capture the books' essence and tone. Your opinions are always so well-reasoned and respectfully stated that I enjoy hearing and considering them even when, on occasion, I might not fully agree with them. Please keep doing what you do so well, and find joy in knowing how much your work is appreciated.

Trolls are a part of social media. Ignore or delete them, they are ignorant & want to cause trouble. There will always be someone with a negative opinion. But you have a lot of followers who enjoy your work. I'm one of them. Your view count is going up because new viewers are finding your channel. And its showing up in Recommends. Consider that a success. After 5 years, I still view your videos. They are a source of comfort and entertainment. Whatever direction you are going, I will still support you. Make whatever content you want, and post when you can. So glad to see you're ok and still here.
I am so sorry about the rude part of your viewers. I remember a quote from my favourite videogame series: "There are a lot of them, but don't forget that there are a lotta people with [you] too. They aren't as outspoken, because *those who are content rarely find the need to bother...* But we have to remember that they're out there." It's obviously out of context, but I think it's very applicable to this situation. Many people love your content and I'm sure most of your viewers, even if their opinions differ from yours, still have respect and don't feel the need to leave negative opinions. The sad truth is that people that would leave more positive comments aren't as outspoken, but please don't be disheartened. I'm sure there's still a lot of us who will show you support and love ❤

Hey Arnella! Thank you for your book and content ---both of which I enjoy. Sorry you are experiencing this level of negativity. I can empathise because I have also recieved less than stellar feedback online and it's never nice to read. It's hard to just 'let it go'. I read an article once stating there's no way to 'work and never offend anyone'. You don't know what triggers people and sometimes, a bad day or a sour mood makes people say things behind a screen they would never dream of saying out loud. Either way, bad feedback is still feedback. People have taken time to watch your videos which is great! They even took the time to write a comment (albeit a mean one) which means you have influenced them on some level. Oh well! We don't all think the same way :-) I think it's refreshing to hear any perspective you might have: even if you dislike a book. Cheers and happy new year!
First of all, thank you so much for your encouragement and input. You are absolutely right in that - you cannot work without offending/triggering *someone* , but despite that, many people seem to resonate with my content. I do try my best to see past the negative comments, and comments like yours really makes that easier. So thank you!🥰
Hi I am content with your approach and content. Have you tried to talk to utube moderator in regard to your ( comment section ) and either ( restrict or switch off ) public comment input. For your own sanity. Perhaps ( just make what you want ) with comments disable ( off ) and the viewers just have to wait ( until you are ready to publish ) and what you say is ( like it or not “ that is you”) with no comment permitted. That way your ( views numbers ) are sincere supporters ( not trolls or scammers ) any money utube still pay be a ( happy bonus ) without being a false earnings. Thanks for the advice! I haven't decided yet if or how to approach the issue, but there are certainly a number of ways to go about it. The only thing I know for sure is that I don't want to turn off comments since most people are very nice and supportive after all 😊
