Channel Update 

Some people have erroneously posted on line that I'm "stage four" I am NOT. It was caught very early and I'm going to be here for a long time. I posted this video for two reasons: 1) to head off comments telling me I look tired/bad/etc. 2) to get out in front of the lies stalkers will tell.

My Dad fought his pancreatic cancer for three years after an initial prognosis was for a three month life expectancy. I'll include you in my prayers.

I wish more people talked like Paul does. There are just people with real CHARACTER that comes out.

I am an RN and I work with people who have had Whipple surgery for pancreatic cancer on a weekly basis. You have the attitude of a survivor and a logical mindset. In my experience, people like you fare better. I trust you will find experts that treat your specific problem on a weekly basis. Godspeed your recovery.

On a side note, as a personal trainer, i always found it inspiring that you are actually in such great shape. Those "baggy"clothes hide some serious results of discipline and consistency. Cancer chose a seriously tough opponent to battle.

I feel that anyone who would “jump ship” and abandon you for health reasons is a substandard human being. I look forward to watching your videos for years to come sir. 🇺🇸

I am a fan, a physician, and a shooter since I was 8 years old (I am now 57). I don't "follow" RU-vidrs, so I just occasionally watch your videos and thoroughly enjoy them when I see them. I will not offer sympathy, medical advice, or other such things that you clearly don't need or want. Your contributions are valuable and appreciated, that is my opinion and my observation. I perceive you to be a man of solid integrity and character. I wish you well and hope I run into more of your presentations in the near future.

You are an excellent speaker who presents information very clearly with a measured, unhurried tone that makes it easy to follow your train of thought. The pauses you speak of in your delivery only serve to punctuate your points.* *Compared to the hurried, frenetic, breathless speech patterns of so many content creators these days, your **_"Shatner-esque"_** delivery is a breath of fresh of air by comparison. John Wayne had, at one point in an interview, credited a mentor of his for teaching him to slow his speech and make deliberate pauses when acting to better drive home his dialogue in the minds of movie-goers. Your delivery achieves a similar result.* *I curse the person who stigmatized you into believing you have a speech impediment. I don't hear one on my end; only wise words precisely and thoughtfully delivered by a giant of the firearms community.*

So glad you hit the million mark Paul, if anyone is deserving of this in the shooting space on YT, it's you. I've criticized a couple of your videos in the past, (I was an adjunct instructor with SigSauer Academy for 10+ years, and was an instructor with 2 PMCs, so my experience is just different is all, not better), and you responded both times. You're such a well reasoned, well spoken, and honest YT creator here. I love it. I searched this video out to find the first time you spoke of your cancer. Going through similar health issues in terms of severity with my family and even now myself to a certain degree, I respect the shit out of the way you continue to handle yourself regarding it.
