Channel update + DPF warning light

Hi everyone, we were aware we haven’t been on much recently so we thought we’d do an update video. We take the dogs to an off lead field and we talk about a slight drama with the van when a warning light came on the dash.

Lovely to see the dogs enjoying themselves, as always. Glad You got the light sorted. It’s always such a trial, even when the dealership is über helpful.

The boys love that off lead field! Thank you, it was a bit unsettling when we first saw the light on the dash, but at least it’s sorted now👍🏻

We keep getting engine management light. Nearest dealer 30 miles away. Never find a problem just do software update. 5 year old T6

Hi David, It’s good to know they’ve never found a problem with your van. It can be unsettling when you see the light on the dash though can’t it. Thanks for sharing your experiences👍🏻

I’ve been researching every van on the market to find the most reliable for a camper build- but from everything I’ve seen they all have the same issues, DPF in particular. I’ve figured I should just get one and stop worrying about it. Sounds like it will end up in garage anyway 😂 Lovely to see the huskeronies running round btw. My boy isn’t bad off leash, but it so relaxing to have the safety of a secure field. When you have a husky there is always the fear of the Houdini act 😅

It does seem to be a thing with these more modern diesels doesn’t it. Luckily in our case it was just a sensor and was covered by the warranty. Yeah just do it you won’t regret it🚐😂 Aww the boys love to have a wander off lead, but Sabre in particular has a very high prey drive, and if he was to see a squirrel or similar small furry, he would be gone. These secure off lead fields are ideal for us and this one is huge so they can have a great time exploring on their own 😊

Really enjoying you content especially as we are newbies. I am just sorting out sleeping arrangements for our new van and wondered if you stuck with the Panda mattress option or if you are using something else.

New van, how exciting! Yes we are still using the panda topper. It definitely made a difference to our comfort in the poptop. It can be hard to know what to do for sleeping arrangements can’t it. Everyone has different comfort needs so it’s difficult to advise others what they should do. Glad to hear you are enjoying the content. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻

Parkway bought our Cali at a good price but I understand their service is rubbish, though VW warranty is the best out there imo. We have a Tiguan & Troc. I would never let a dealer wash my vehicle though 🤦🏻‍♂. Great to see the dogs enjoying themselves. Look forward to the Whitby stuff.

Hi Andy, hope you’re good 😊 No way, have you sold your camper?? 🙁 To be honest Rich told them not to wash it on the first day they had it, but he forgot to say anything when he took it back and they washed it anyway 🤦🏻‍♀️ Luckily it seems like they looked after it so we got away with that one 😂 The boys love the off lead field! Rich is in the process of editing the Whitby stuff so shouldn’t be too long 👍🏻

@@andyblake1849 Wow this sounds very exciting! I feel like we saw the Bailey Endeavour at the NEC. It’s based on a Transit isn’t it? Very nice van if I remember rightly. Fingers crossed it turns up soon so you can get out and about in it 🤞🏻

Where in Leicstershire do you come from. I live N E Lincs but have followed Tigers over 30 years as they are the nearest r union team to me

We live in West Leicestershire, about half an hour drive away from the centre of Leicester. Tigers are a great club! 🏉🐅 We’re more in to the football though ⚽️🦊😊

It’s actually north of Manchester closer to Chorley. It’s called Rivington Brewing Co Caravan Park. We’ve never been there so looking forward to seeing what it’s like 👍🏻
