Thanks. In most of the comics I have her in she's in her 20's but in the longer shorts I'm working on she's a kid. I'm working on comics so that I have something cheap to give away in the conventions. In the comics, she is an engineering MBA that is trying to fix her hometown that has crumbling infrastructure, but every idea she has is the wrong idea. I'm going to post some of the comic strip as community posts from time to time.
Oh wow, that's a great premise! Your comic sounds like it has plenty of humor and heart ^-^ Am glad it will be for conventions too, and posts sound fun! I'd be happy to see @@yelloweyeball
It looks like you're doing good. Most of the time I just make random animations just for the sake of it. I might not exactly be excited for your upcoming short, but I will look forward into it.
Thank you. Just interest is fine in my opinion. This short won't be as much of a struggle to make as other people's projects anyway. It's limited mid to late century style animation, so I could probably do most of it myself. Most of the money is going to voice actors an licensing out music from the DeWolfe library.
Good to have you back, Jordan! I'll be rooting for you from the sidelines! "Yelloweyeball" is alright, but I like your ideas with something "Productions" even better. Looking forward to what the new name will be. Keep up the fine work! I am looking forward to your project!
Yeah. Village street is a street in downtown Hamilton. I am thinking of renting out a studio space from this art community venue there, so Village Productions would be a great name. if not, Benans-Hillard productions will make more sense.
Yelloweyeball, how is Newgrounds? Is it great for beginners? Let’s say I got decent with my drawings after some time and I wanted to show my talent to show my best works. Maybe even upload comic pages for a whole miniseries. Or is it just images, otherwise I’ll put drawings on Newgrounds and the comic on somewhere else. I only have ideas for stories but haven’t really wrote them since I kind of prefer something visual, with dialogue of course, but also pictures. Kind of like where when I start doodling and then when I get good enough I could start writing maybe a script of sorts of what would happen and then draw it, maybe a storyboard of sorts, but for comics.
I do stuff on Newgrounds, but what I'm trying to get more into is presenting my work more in public. Renting out venues and having screenings. I am trying to do more IRL stuff with animation.
@@yelloweyeball but don’t you have to like take time editing videos? I did consider the day I started writing comics for maybe advertising here, but also upload them with each issue having the page change in a certain amount of time until the end. I could probably choose music I like while also crediting the original owners. But I was also worried since RU-vid has certain algorithms.
