P.S.: About the burnout you feel with creating content - in a way I feel the same, even as a (very) new content creator. I mainly do OMSI 2, and despite the game’s age there’s still great community content coming out at the moment. However, between the new releases, I still feel like I’m forcing content with older, less interesting vehicles and maps that no one, myself included, is genuinely excited about anymore. The gameplay mechanism has pretty much remained entirely the same as well - just more stopping and starting than ETS2. No massive (literal) game-changers have surfaced, nor is it really possible with OMSI 2’s ancient engine. As much as I enjoy making and editing these videos as a public transport enthusiast, lately I’ve started feeling like I (and the RU-vid algorithm, which pretty much forces me to feature one game only) am pushing myself to do the same thing over and over again. Even more reason to take your time! Let the enthusiasm and the longing for your community build up, so it’s actually enjoyable and something you really want to do again.

How did I find this perfect video on the first day I realised I had a burnout, my start went very quickly... In 5 days it went from going out having fun, actually enjoying student life before the exam worry would start to a finally rested head at 5:00 when all you did after dinner was try to rest...
@@TheClumsyGeekGaming yesterday I messaged people that I need a break, and that it was their responsibility / worry now. It helped a lot, slept better tonight, it's only 4 hours of sleep but going to sleep was much less difficult... I've (officially) put everything on hold except exams, I'm fortunate I could do that. Today already feels better, but I must focus on getting my head clear before I can worry about exams. For now I don't need to worry about school, as I've already shown I am a great student before this shit. Btw, congrats on the new job opportunity, I hope you thrive at work with new motivation! A less frequent or different stream schedule is no problem, as I am new anyways lol. Others will understand too, especially cause you're open about it
Oh and I got the map yesterday, so special to me as I've been on vacation in that exact region! Stayed in Tromsø, and the vibe is definitely captured very well!
Nice to see you back again. i still working on updating my light mod, not that is not working... just trying to fine tune the truck lights more, and getting more mod trucks to work with it aswell. and congrats for the new job. The burnout feeling is real. Ever since the pandemic began, the days just felt very repetitive after a certain point during this year and my body and mind couldn't handle it and I felt like I needed something different to offset the feeling of repeating the same exact thing everyday. I especially felt burnt out from gaming and using my computer... It felt like a task to do in a weird way and I wasn't having fun anymore since I abused it so much for the past two years. I decided to take a break from gaming and everything that felt repetitive and started introducing other tasks and work which really help ease the burnout and tension these past two years. It's weird but I felt a lot better with just a week of change in routine. This experience was sort of new to me and I thought I'd share my side of it too. Congrats on the new job! Hopefully the break off from RU-vid and streaming will help eliminate this feeling.

Congratulations on the new Job and glad to hear you have recovered . Its understandable about the videos being stopped . To be honest i spoke with lot of on discord and all of us are feeling the burn out on truck sim . We are in this big lul moment now . All the new trucks and sounds mods are awesome but if we dont have any new areas to drive its becomes boring and lot of people are facing this . I guess when you are able to make videos/stream everything will be back to normal and we might have some new dlc or something to try out .

Hi Clumsy so pleased to hear that you have recovered from Covid, strange how some feel that it has gone away. Congratulations on your new job, I think that you will find that working with with people again will be good, I for one would have hated working from home, no work, life split. I really do not blame you for wanting a break from posting video's and streaming, that must have felt like another job at times, sure your wife will be happy. Burn out, not just yet for me. I have been creating a lot of new skins as I have redesigned my livery. I have also customized the Big Garage mod. I now have my own AI traffic pack of trucks and trailers running around the map with my new livery. Working with Pawulonn (Pomezania) on a new look for my Virtual company. So pleased that Pomezania is being updated on a regular basis. Not been on ATS for a while, but really wish that scs would update ETS2, some parts of the map are so bad, not optimized, pop up scenery despite in older areas inspite of my graphic settings. Grand Utopia crashes for me every time I go into the capital of Grand Utopia. So pleased that Pomezania is working just fine.

@@TheClumsyGeekGaming but the thing that im burnt out with truck sim, Is the goal of running a load to a destination, they need cutscenes of people unloading or loading your trailer etc.. they need some changes in the scs industry to gain our interest again, I fully agree with you
