Does this work in the newer version or has et been removed/patched? or maybe I need to take some extra steps to enable it? the version here seems little old since the UI with the one that I am playing is different.

I know this video is a bit older... but I also got myself Pilot2ATC, primarily because I also don't want to fly in online networks. It is, with the exception of relatively new things like SayIntentions, the best ATC you can get. Yes, it is 60 bucks... but you pay that once - with SayIntentions you pay 20 bucks per month. Anyways - I wrote a Python script which taps into the Pilot2ATC conversation, takes the last spoken line, sends it to Amazon Polly, then couples that with radio noise. Even better immersion. I need to implement hand-offs like from ground to tower... that will be a bit more involved. But yes. It really helps with the immersion.
I log most of my time with the carenado pc12 and the TBM. Great planes but the floght models are very forgiving. At first I struggled with the Kodiak and shelved it for a bit... but discovered the bad habits I'd developed were why I struggled with the Kodiak. Learning proper throttle control, trim, using flaps for drag, etc made all the difference in properly flying this plane.
Thank you very much. it works great on 2024 and make the driving so much easier. For 2024 the mix trackiron line is on number 257. Since the game is keep updating in the future probably this will also change. So the best advice is to ctrl+f in the file and search for mix trackiron and then follow the steps of the video.
Hello from the Future :) . Just bought this at like 4 Euros from Steam ( I like buying dated, but good games rly cheap, and TF2 is still too expensive XD ) a few days ago, and am having enormous fun figuring everything out . FIrst few starts ofc didnt go rly well, but by now I am having a 1850 map at around 1.5 mio profit/yr. in 1883 already . The intricacies regarding routeplanning are great to learn and work with . Thanks for the playlist, looking forward to watch it all and see what I can learn from your playthrough :) .

really wish theyd add the trains in seattle - they look really cool! if they added the railrunner in new mexico, i dont see why they couldn't add Sounder or Link!
