I really enjoyed seeing your Bible collection! I also have several Bibles including the King James Bible I got as a high school graduation present in 1963! My church that I grew up in and was a member of until 1967 when my family moved gave it to me. Needless to say I cherish it. I also cherish my mother's Scofield Bible. It's a King James version that has the column down the middle of each page and the break down and explanation of the scriptures on that page in that column. It has her writing all over it and is coming apart but I will keep it as long as I live. She passed away in 2014 at 98 and I miss her! I agree with you about the Life Application Bible. I have the big King James version. It's my favorite! I also have the Women's Devotional Bible like the one your mother had that was passed to you. I love that one too. Thank you for sharing your collection with us! Just to add....I was an Army wife for 23 years. My husband retired in 1995 and passed away in 2020. 📖🪖🎖
I am so sorry for your loss. I just know that you cherish those memories and sacrifices made throughout the years and can only imagine your pain. 😢 I admire how you were able to hold onto those treasures after so many moves and I’ve lost several things over the years but would love to see your collection. Thanks so much for sharing your story 🤗
Thanks for showing your Bible collection. I have many in my collection also. Some were my parents’, my mother died in 2009 and she made notes all in her Bible, which is precious to me. Crafting wise, I enjoy making inspirational cards and ATCs and I have more than a few stamps and dies in that category.
Hello. I just came across your channel. I really enjoyed seeing your collection. They do have an illustrating bible in nlt. It is in collaboration with dayspring. It looks like the illustrating bible, but it reminds you of the inspire line of bibles that tyndale publishes. I saw someone mention this earlier, but there is a large print edition of the one step closer bible. I purchased mine off of Lifeway. They really have some very good deals on bibles. I look forward to seeing more of your videos 😊.
So good to see a video from you, Mellonie! I've never heard of Verse Mapping and definitely need to look into that Bible. How precious that you have your Mother's handwriting in the pink devotional bible--what a keepsake. Think I own eight different bibles, and it is nice to go to other versions for deeper understanding. Looking forward to your next video!
I love reading my bibles as well taking notes in my notebook journal i have a Catholic life bible and a Spanish bible as well can I write in it both with a BIC Round Stic M pen ❤
Hi you mentioned liking the larger print, so do I😊 Is the print in the She Reads Truth & InCourage Bibles larger than in the Verse Mapping Bible? There is a large print version of the One Step Closer Bible available if still interested.
Sorry I’m just seeing your comment. They are about the same really. Verse map is bolder but the three have about the same size font. Neither is large print though. Hope that (belated) helps. 🤗
Please be careful with having the Jesus Calling it implies that Jesus isn’t enough and the Bible isn’t enough that we need someone/something to tell us what God has said
" biggest problem with Jesus Calling is very simple: Jesus did not speak these words. If these were His words, then Jesus Calling would be Scripture, which is by definition the words of God. So if it’s not (and it isn’t) on an inspired and trustworthy level like Scripture itself, then it’s making a false claim. In fact, regardless of whether it’s biblically sound, it’s an entire book built on falsehood.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qitoH5GylZ8.htmlsi=yIhiAsEBQQLGHyz0 I had this book, after throwing it away felt much better. Praise be to the Living God!
