Hello! This video of yours was suggested to me by RU-vid and I am so glad! I enjoyed it very much. It made me a little sad because I became a Christian many, many years ago and I have had several Bibles along the way, but I never took notes in them, and most of them I do not have anymore. I think it is wonderful that you have kept almost all of yours. Just recently I began wanting many different translations of the Bible. I am going to look into the LSB. I have become a subscriber and I'm looking forward to going back to watch your other videos 🙂

I have some of those Bibles. My favorites are Allan Bibles, Humble Lamb (AKJV). The higher end Bibles last longer, for sure, such as Allan, or Schuyler. I have a purple Allan that looks like your rebound only has baby blue art gilding on the edges. I have always taken a lot of notes in my Bibles. They become more precious as "keepers" because then the growth you or I receive can be documented. 😇

I totally agree. I love flipping through my Bibles and seeing how the Lord has worked in my life. They serve as "markers" just like the children of Israel set up to "show" where God moved.

NASB is one the of most literal, word for word version out there. ESV is good. I do bible studies with the NASB, Precept Upon Precept studies. Interestesting. I find the NKJV easier to read than the NASB.

I loved this video Petra, thankyou for sharing your bibles, i have quite the collection too lol, i learned from you also, cos my note taking bible is so full, but you made the point of saying about how those notes aren't our thoughts in a different time , how true is that ! i am going to go online and buy yet another lol, you can never have too many bibles eh ;) the same goes for yarn... Thank you for sharing your lovely collection ! I had heard of the Legacy Standard but didn't know anything about it. And you are right, there's something soothing about the Inspire bible. I got mine a few years ago, when my granddaughter was going through chemotherapy. I prayed and colored - it gave me courage. God Bless You :-)

*I was given a bible in 1961 for reciting the names of the Old Testament books in church. I read it and cherished it ever since. That is until about 7 years ago, which is when I realized what had happened and why I had been noticing very odd things in it! I can draw a picture of my baby stroller and had memorized many verses from it word for word. God's words will not pass away because they're written in His Children's hearts but all records of them have been changed supernaturally. Want proof? You better! Read Amos **8:11** then type in (proof of bible change residue junkie) BUT BRACE YOURSELF FIRST!!!* *After you've seen all the prophecies pointed out that we had previously misinterpreted being perfectly fulfilled with your own eyes, your faith will be 1,000% stronger and you will have grown MUCH closer to Jesus the never changing Word of God ... GUARANTEED!!!!!!!* *Please share that playlist quickly as it's bringing strayed believers back to Jesus!* ❤✝️💪
