Hey Sammy, since you asked, your long-form style vids seem to be working well and I like them but if you have the time to create an extra mid-weeker such as cooking or tackle or boat talk I'd watch that also. From a RU-vidr perspective, an extra piece of content like a shorter midweek vid or a short or even a livestream is almost always a good thing for your channel 👍🙂

There is only one thing better than one Sammy Hitzke Fishing show a week. Two shows a week would be awesome

Catching and cooking for me is the best way. This of course gives everyone ideas on how they might want to cook one of your fish species recipes.

Hey Champ, I fully understand this video was made before the closure but I think it would have been worth mentioning that the Spanish Mackerel closure began on 1/2/23 and after 1 July the bag limit will become 1 per person and 2 per boat. Just a heads up for the punters. Love your work

Gday sammy, ya prolly not gonna convince me any other ways of cooking fish and muddies/sandies but for your hardcore deepdropping stuff and spanners id love a catch and cook. Wow, there is no doubt about it Sammy, you can fish, you legend! Don’t those divers do the trick.I like the little Atomic Cranks for Flatties and Bream in the Estuaries which is the extent my fishing adventures go to, also Bonnie’s with the Daiwa Double Clutch, off the jetties and pontoons. I do, from my experience like the hardbody shallow divers over the soft plastics. Mainly can find the soft plastics jumping along the bottom can get snagged a lot. Wouldn’t be silly enough to write them off though, as really, for Bream, what goes better than a lightly weighted Motoroil or bloodworm grub hopped along a sandy bottom! See ya legend!!

I've never fished in any ocean. 😔 amazed me how fast it seems you're trolling! I grew up fishing in fresh water, and we trolled so much slower! Any salt water fishing has been on my mind abs bucket list for most of my life. Great video, brother!

Not sure where you are fishing or if you are aware of A southern closure in east coast waters south of 22˚S (located slightly north of Stanage Bay, between Mackay and Yeppoon) for two three-week periods (six weeks in total) in February and March each year. The first southern closure will run from 1 February 2023 to 21 February 2023 and 1 March 2023 to 21 March 2023.
