After an exhausting day travelling to two games back to back, we had a late start at the fan village in Al Khor and then travelled down to Lusail for lunch and a few pre match drinks before our 10pm match.
We had tickets for Spain v Germany, one of the stand out fixtures from the group stage.
The scenes on arrival at the stadium seemed quite shocking for an international sporting event.
