This deck taught me that Extra Deck monsters can only be Sp Summoned from the GY *_if_* they were summoned properly first.

how well do you think this deck will fare under the new rulings? i have been testing this deck and the buster-rokket version. it is a pretty strong board but can still be broken quite easily. i am trying to find a way to counter DRNM and so far i have only been successful with my albaz deck. wdy think, spyro?

can buster blader retrain be summoned from deck off of memories. i thought his name was only buster blader in field and grave

Discard 1 "Destruction Sword" card; Special Summon 1 "Buster Blader" monster from the Deck. Buster Blader “monster” is the key part of the text on memories and Protector Whelp, that allow you to Special Summon the retrain from deck. The retrain, the OG, and the Fusion, are all classified as “Buster Blader” monsters. The fusion has the limitation on him that says “Must be Fusion Summoned” so he cannot be summoned by other ways, otherwise yes you can SS the retrain or the OG off of the first effect on Destruction Sword Memories.

Can you summon that buster blader off the whelp link? I’ve had a few arguments that it has to be the original one cause it says buster blader and that one’s only treated as such on field or grave. Even though it lets me do it on the game that Konami brought out. Let me know!

Yes you can special summon buster blader the destruction sword master from hand by the effect of the link-2 protector whelp

@@matthewwoodruff5988 thank you! I had a long ass argument at a tournament because of this and even let it be but still won the match so I appreciate the feedback man! I like your build and I’m always looking into different buster blader builds because it’s my favorite deck but my build is different because I go with the level one search with (where arf thou?) and and have trap tricks to speed up the searching the trap so I can go first or second depending on the dice roll 🎲

Nope. Sadly “Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman” has no equip effects.

You can’t activate white stone of ancients effect on the end phase because you special summoned it using the effect of crystron halqifrax. You need to read your cards better, Halqifrax says, “special summon 1 level 3 or Lowe tuner monster from your deck in defense, BUT IT CANNOT ACTIVATE ITS EFFECTS THIS TURN.”

Crystron Halqifibrax only prevents effect activation of the exact monster summoned onto the field. As soon as it is flipped face-down, returned to the hand, banished, destroyed, sent to the GY, shuffled into the deck or tributed or whatever you do with the thing, it's treated as another monster from "the tuner Halqifibrax summoned" so yes, it's GY effect can activate.
