What Sadly happened to the Grahamstown Arts Festival seems to be happening to the Comrades. Why?

Club constitutions are living documents. While the going is good everything is OK, until you hit the rocky road. This is not unique to the comrades, many clubs have experienced this. This could be as a result of "outdated" club statutes. I think its time a club ombudsmen be appointed by the minister of sport to assist and clubs with statutes and compliance. The sad part is the collective of members are disenfranchised as a result of unclear statutes.
