YOU ARE INSANE! Everytime I blinked there was a new emergence of this masterpiece! And I couldn't agree more: the connection between artist and viewer increases with "chaos" or less detail. The viewer is invited to participate, and engage their imagination into the world of the drawing (in this piece - the mysteriousness)! PS - No art teacher has told me to squint. Game changer.
You gave the best advice ever.........for us student artists to use the principles learned with our own reference material rather than trying to reproduce your work.
Amazing finally another charcoal drawing!! Thank you for this great video!! Constantly learning from you. Thankyou for sharing your content, truly appreciate taking your time for this and the fact that you enjoy it as well.
I've recently completed a charcoal - learn to draw course because of your videos! Going to be buying an easel and supplies soon. Cant wait to start. Your videos and narration are very inspiring. Absolutely love your art style. Chaos mixed with beauty. Keep it up man!
most amazing thing abt this art is it seems like your carving out face from paper with charcoal damnnn bruhh 🔥🔥🔥🔥 this is insanity 🔥😍,always love ur art 🖼 thanks for sharing ur drawing process and tips ❤️ im surely gonna apply these tips 👌🏼
May I ask you to consider putting your reference photo in the shot so we can see and learn how you extract the shapes? Thank you. Love your work and instruction. Priceless to me. With every one of your videos I learn and become more able to see and convey images
I love art work like this . I’m getting a Marilyn Monroe vibe from this art work. Despair and sorrow captured in a dark moment. I know it is not her , its the emotion.
Sensei MC. I'm just starting to charcoal. Never touched it till now. Nor any art in 30yrs. Your style, the looseness, the flow you have. That's for me bro. Just that. Don't care what it looks like. It's the flow brother. Love it 👍
I love your work and process. The freedom in style and creating of "chaos" certainly pulls viewers in to look closer. What do you use to preserve your charcoal pieces? Any kind of Fixative or Matte Finish. I must admit I did a HUGE mistake on a piece I just finished (would be one of my favs so far). I used a Krylon Matte Finish spray for charcoal drawings. Though I thought I used it lightly, it turned the whole thing a frosted white and destroyed the value range. Bummed. Sure wish there was a way to bring back the "blacks". But I would like to use some kind of fixative to minimize smearing. Thanks again for your excellent videos - the art and commentary is valuable.
You RUIN your own videos with TOO MANY ADS!!! I cannot concentrate as I’d like to, and boy is it aggravating! Hope the greed is worth it, Driving-Us-Mad Charcoal….
I’m new too this form of art and when I watched your videos it’s inspired to try charcoal I really like the concept of making something out of chaos I actually believe in the concept of chaos that brings about change especially in humanity and the world we have a habit of being chaotic in general in humanity I mean great videos
