Sounds awesome. Morphagene is one of the best modules I’ve had the pleasure to try. Would love a video on exactly how you’re setting yours up in your case.
sounding really good, I think you're onto something ;) You should do and update video on your B case and talk all about the Morphagene workflow! Btw I wish we'd have an overhead shot of the case while your jamming, for me at least is more captivating.
An update video is coming for sure, likely in the next monthish since there is one module I want to try out that is on its way still. Good feedback on the camera angle, sometimes I try and make a distinction between the angles I use for talking videos vs just a quick clip - but maybe that's a bit silly and is in the way of a better video...
@thismeanswarbasse morphagene looper video 😅 come on dude . Keeping us hanging. Lol . I'm playing around with morphagene myself as a live techno module, still not found its place 100 percent. I was having joy with the sd card removed and using it like a tape delay. I was also having some joy triggering it rhythmically and messing around with prerecorded samples of vocals and random noises. The looper idea, I saw the video you referenced a couple years ago and messed with it a little. But got distracted. Now about to try it as a looper again, and always happy to see how others are doing it. Fingers crossed 🤞
honestly I didn’t know it was capable of being a clocked live recorder like this until I came across this like 6 year old tutorial someone made and I mostly copied their approach with a slightly different clock setup. I always saw Morphagene talked about with daw-setup reel files and SD card stuff - which I just cannot stand or bother with. Now that I have a sense of how it can be used live, I’m a much bigger fan, but that’s just a personal gripe and bad assumption I had beforehand I guess
Appreciate the feedback. I need to mess with the motor speed and get the spinning to be like 1 rotation per 30m or something. Super slow movement would be nice I think
