Excellent explanation of the basis of moral injury. I do wonder whether much work has been done to bring this understanding out in to the world other than in the military context. There are fundamental moral aspects to many personal problems that counselling does not address simply becasue they do not drill down to the soul and spiritual aspects you raise.
