Ok, so we can definitively see by that definition that income taxation most certainly qualifies as theft, which is why our founders explicitly forbade direct taxation in the first place. One particular party imposed the income tax in 1913, has championed it since then, and now wants to raise rates to steal even more from citizens. The other party is seeking to re-abolish the income tax completely to finally stop this systematic theft. Since 1913 there has been well over 100 TRILLION dollars stolen from citizens making the Democrat Party literally the worst thieves in history. They stole 30k from me at gunpoint just last year.

I feel like he should get legal representation and consult with an attorney about what kind of civil suit can be filed against this officer and department because the female officer tried to cover it up (it's oainfully obvious) and... I'm no legal expert, but I feel like his civil rights were violated. He was not allowed to give the money to his girl yet he was allowed to give her his phones. Either all of it is evidence or none of it is. Period. It was his money. Not the departments. He should have been allowed to give it to his girl. The officer didn't let him because he planned to steal. But, by them not letting him give HIS money to his girl, he was deprived of his rights over his own personal property. People in the USA don't understand how lucky they are to even be able to call the police and they show up. They take an incident like this and generalize it to mean everyone is like this. That's like saying your primary care doctor in Nevada is corrupt because one corrupt doctor in Florida got caught writing bad prescriptions. If Mexico and the US traded police forces for 3 days, the Americans would be begging for their police force to come back (many will deny it but believe me, it's no good feeling knowing that in many countries the police won't investigate, they may actually show up at your house with the cartel!)

Post the actual interview so we can see how easy you guys were on him. I'm sure you told him you'd make sure he wasn't charged with theft because it was a felony amount. Which is why he was charged with embezzlement. I'm not even from this state and this upsets me. The victim needs a public apology because he was apologizing to you guys the entire time yet he was the victim. Also, the public as a whole needs to see the interview with him. Uncut. Unedited. The good and the bad. Transparency is key in situations like this in order to restore public trust.

The other police were trying to let him get away with it. The black man had to solve the crime, who is the real criminal.

The interview is public record. Anyone of us can go and get a FOIA request. It’s light work.

His complete arrest record needs to be audited thoroughly!! Not his first time, just his first time getting caught! If he's stealing from detainees who knows what else he has done.

It’s kind of upsetting that the guy who eventually removed his service weapon from him threw him a softball question to help get him out of the whole situation by asking him “have you been drinking?” So, that’s how internally they probably get away with all kinds of wrongdoing; blame it on a “temporary case of insanity” because they were drinking on the job “due to the stress.” I guess we’re seeing more and more that the old adage “it takes a thief to catch a thief” might be true. Too many bad cops out there. Not sure why they are so angry and unnecessarily volatile because in today’s economy and how rapidly every thing has changed over the last 5 years, they’re some of the highest salaried people in America at this point and our skyrocketing property taxes pay their salaries…for this?

That's not what he said... wow. He asked if he needed anything to drink, obviously talking about water or something alike. The hate is real 🤨

Fired is not good enough.. when you as a police officer commit a crime ( given the extraordinary level of authority and power) you should be punished even more severely than a regular citizen.

Can you imagine getting ready in the morning as a police officer, then a few hours later sitting right next to the person you just arrested in the neighboring cell? It's crazy. I feel bad for the news he had to tell his wife: he lost his career and is now in jail for $900. It's sad. This is why police officers need a freaking raise! They do so much for so little. This was 100% wrong on his part, and sadly, he's facing the consequences.
