Grew up in an area ~30-40% black, ~15-20% Hispanic, and the rest white or Asian. This is so true. In High School, it would take just one guy rapping a good beat on the top of his desk, and the whole of the black crowd came alive; if it was a class that allowed radio, like horticulture, and some good strings were playing, the white people were mentally checking out. As for the Hispanics... you could hear them partying well into the night from where I lived, from like a mile away. Neither white or black had words to describe it. Percussion and strings we could understand, but that... that was something else.

Just a question. I enjoy watching you guys and have seen many of your reactions. I enjoy the comedy ones the most but also the musical. I know you have to stop a lot for various reasons... My question is that I see several other people react to some of the same things and they do not have to stop much. So you keep saying you have to stop. Is it you have to or just want to. Again I watch you and do not mind most of the stopping to get your reactions. Do some utubers have different rules on copywrite and other things. I have seen many reactors keep the videos going non stop. Just curious

WTF, The first time I saw this skit, I was on the floor for about an hour laughing my ever luvin ass off. Even to this day, I can just think of this and bust out laughing. But settling back and thinking about this a little bit, there is a very strong ring of truth to what Chappelle is saying in this little experiment here. Like what you see is what you get. No time for love. No time for everybody. No time for anything. Wasn’t life great when we could all laugh at ourselves without idiots saying it’s racist. whatsoever folks. live life to the fullest. But most importantly coexist. Damnnnn Don’t let the politicians and race baiters (both sides) divide us.

We need more Dave Chappelle now more than ever.He told the truth, and white, black, latino, and asians laughed together. Some people where not represented and apparently are resenting it, That's the spirit! The joke comes full circle in the end when Dave joins in on the every rose has its thorn, Dave being black, should really like it right, but even before we get to the end you already see Dave taking part in mosh pit in the restaurant.,if humans focus only at this what is certain, we would still be living in a cave... generalization is the key of unknown... exceptions only prove the rule. hope you get it.

It’s fair to every race honestly and no one if left out being made fun of. I like how he added the black and white policeman at the end who danced to the same type of music basically showing you that similarities and differences in human beings have nothing to do with race but they're actually to do with where you're brought up, the people you're surrounded by and what you're familiar with or even what resonates with the individual personally. These are the types of things that create similarities and differences in humans and I've even noticed these things myself through personal observation.

IMHO, this is one of the best things Dave ever did on his show. He is utterly without guile and beatific. There are more quotable or iconic or hilarious pieces, but this one was clever, well-executed, and it capped itself off with that sentiment that Dave Chappelle always had -- the Dave that I remember from back then, and even before the show. His whole thing was basically, "yeah, we're different, but we're kind of the same, too, so maybe we can all just love each other huh? Everyone cool with that?" That's how it always sounded to me, at least.

Every time I see Dave and John it brings a smile to my face. I love Dave Chappelle ,and John Mayer is literally the greatest guitarist of our generation ,and I’m a guitarist too so I know him bc of his music ,but he’s a great guy too. (ps: I’m Hispanic 😆😵)
