The ㄱ aka g sound in Hangul can be pronounce Hankul as well because the ㄱ sound isn’t just g but. A mix of a g or k sound which is why romanization isn’t very accurate :)

Languages can help with globalization if it is a lingua Franca like English. Lingua Franca means it is a language that people use to trade, and with more people learning it more they can interact with other countries then they become more globalized
I'm sure the author is talking about the original Bible. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, and the New Testament was written in Koine Greek, or biblical Greek.
