The journey of a big carp angler never ends; there’s always another fish to target or another venue to explore. Oz Holness is no stranger to this, having fished for big carp for much of his adult life, culminating in an impressive list of huge UK fish topped by a once British record capture.
We join Oz for two individual sessions, one on the famous Carthagena complex and the other on the banks of the beautiful Oxlease Lake on the Wasing Estate in Berkshire. In the first part of the film, we follow Oz live through a tough session on Brooke Lake, home to a huge 50lb common. Then, in the spring of the following year, we visit Wasing, where Oz delves deep into his thought process, revealing what it takes to catch big carp consistently.
