Listening to this made me so furious. I hate unfairness and being accused of something that you did not do. I agree with her not to let it go. I am one of those people who will fight to the end to bring the truth to light. I also got to know the true nature of people, friends and family, when I lost my employment.
This is incredible and heartbreaking. How collegueas, the legal community and family completely abandoned them in the face of fabricated and false allegations, all of which were made to intimidate, and it looks like they succeeded. Will people do the right thing, if they know they will be treated like this? We should be better than this!

It is important to understand that in life there are broadly 3 groups of people. The first are good people who spend their lives doing good things. I would hope they form the majority. Then there are bad people who spend their lives doing bad things. Usually easily recognizable and mostly easy to avoid. But the worst type of person is the fundamentally bad person who comes across as someone good. The narcissists and conmen. The sweet talkers. People who takes your trust and abuse it. They head up governments and companies. They infiltrate institutions of good and corrupt them. I wish you luck, and for once, I am happy that my tax money can be used to pay you the millions you deserve when you succeed in suing the state.

I have also been in a situation where reputation is trashed and you almost cannot defend yourself and need to go to the highest legal mind to get on board to assist you both. The Law Society of South Africa, whose mandate is to provide leadership and support to the legal profession, needs to get fully involved in this matter as soon as possible. The legal profession cannot fulfil its role in society if its members are going to be victimised by a corrupt SAP.

Sorry to hear your abuse by the judiciary. I’m still going through my case that’s dragged on and on. 4 lawyers and 2 advocates later. Police are not here to help you. You on your own. A similar incident happened to me in 2002, Sarah. First thing to learn is that you only have 5 or less True friends. All others are only there to feed off you. Never ask them for anything in your life again. Secondly, publish your findings and what is happening to you. It makes the law shit itself from inadequacy, incompetence and general rule of law. That's when you start winning the war. Ignore all the assholes around you. And smile. They hate that.
Approach DA for investigation and assistance. There are a number of wrongs that have to be addressed as a matter of urgency. This is only one example. Im disgusted that this has been allowed to happen while many in positions of authority looked the other way. Where are the loud mouth politicians now....

Why are they being given airtime to plead their case instead of letting due process follow its course. What makes them so special? Surely they should keep quiet and allow the investigators to do their jobs. They allegedly have been implicated as being as corrupt as the individuals that they have been investigating. As a journalist go and read the by-laws of the institutions that she mentions to understand why their memberships were suspended. What were the names of those institutions again - could not find it based on what she said. Perhaps do an interview with the attorney that refused to deal with them and the polygraph guy to understand their points of views. Their stories are way one-sided. Eastern cape, especially Rhodes University financial aid, many students some students wait over 2 years to receivevthier funds from their sponsor, other students are being not paid, falsely accused of having two funding, they chowing students fund on their names but student don't get anything.
