Alhaitham Character Demo but I believe Kaveh stole the show hehe! IS ALHAITHAM THE SCARLET KING!??!! HOYO PLS LET US KNOW ⟡ I'm your leify lore streamer Minsleif ⟡ / minsleif (for Genshin Lore streams and discussions!) ⟡ / minsleif
the fact that extrovertic kaveh "steals" the show of more reserved alhaitham is so fitting, and you can see that he does not mind that at all, well maybe he does mind Kaveh talking, just not the stealing the show part
Exactly. I dont get why people mad at this. If you scroll through the main yt channel, a lot of people complain about this. Like why kaveh the star in another people demo. Considering Haitham mysterious and quiet character, this kind of demo depicts his character perfectly. A great strategist like Haitham doesnt need to explain about himself, other people could do it for him.
Not only is Deshret's star the same as Alhaitham's eye colors, but also the feathers-thing on Alhaitham's clothes are the same colors that are used for the desert villages and trees in the start of the cutscene
Not only that, but his burst is more similar to the first attack belonging to Algorithm of Semi Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network (A SIMON, if you will,) than it is to Keqing's burst. Meaning he definitely has vast combat knowledge possibly related to studying Deshret's technology.
@@edishasora5200 Is he? Is it bc of Cyno? Deshret's technology consists of Electro + Dendro reactions to subdue the Primal Constructs; SIMON included. Even if it ain't about elements, you gotta admit they look real similar with the lazer bouncing combat moves they share.
this might have been the coolest demo yet. i do love the kaveh "frenemy" dynamic too--can't wait to run around as his much cooler roommate and hit things with lasers :]
I wonder if you'll ever do a video talking about the reincarnation theories people have been having about the characters like Cyno, Alhaitham, and Nilou have to previous beings like Deshret and the Goddess of Flowers, etc. Part of me is kind of conflicted on this theory. It technically could make sense since Nahida is an incarnation of Rukkadevata anyway, and the game tells us time and time again that Teyvat is cyclical, and events are mirroring those of the past. But on the other hand, I'm not sure if making these characters be reincarnations of their past selves would benefit their character. Their accomplishments and their personalities would just end up being reflections of their previous lives, and their deeds overshadowed since they were done by their reincarnations rather than their own hard work. What do you think?
i did a nilou analysis as a short but ahh I would love to explore this more as a long form video!! thanks so much for the suggestion hehe I'll add it to the to-do list! I personally like the term "narrative parallels"
I believe narrative parallels fit best for what we're witnessing like Minsleif said. I'd say it's just like the Raiden Shogun/Raiden Mei and Yae Miko/Yae Sakura parallels. They're technically obvious callbacks (for lack of a better term) to Honkai but they stand alone well enough to be their own characters for Genshin's universe to exist well enough within it's own bubble. The same can be said for Alhaitham possibly relating to Su in the vaguest way possible while being his own individual character at the same time.
if u read his profile on the website, he said he has earpieces for noise blocking and honestly i think the ones he's always wearing is the same earpieces he was talking about lol cuz there's no way they write that without making ones he's wearing is the one lol
Ok, ok, I’ll definitely pull for him tomorrow….but I rlly need to win the 50/50 because I’m gonna need to start a Kaveh fund for whenever he releases, that spunky man is also gorgeous and I love him too. 💚 (plus I’m gonna need the whole Sumeru bro/roommate/husband squad at this point 😅)
Both pairs (Tighnari-Cyno and Kaveh-Alhaitham) give off married couple vibes and I'M HERE FOR IT. Also I love seeing characters interacting with each other in such trivial ways, not because there's an emergency or a catastrophe, but just hanging out after work because they're friends🥰
Minsleif, in case you have done the new world quest, do you have any theories as to why there is an irminsul branch at the central island at the...final place of the quest? (Dont wanna spoil anything😅)
Sumeru's tree symbol consists of three parts. Bottom part is the heart-shaped dendro symbol and that is Nahida. Alhaitham‘s brooch is the middle stem. Kaveh's necklace corresponds to the top leaf/flower.
does vision size matter?(different char/outfits have different vision sizes, the "cut" also differs, some are diamond, some are oval, some are spherical, Lisa's looks like a pendant.)
About his eyes, i remember watching another content creator who said he had a relative with eyes almost exactly like that. I've long forgotten the details on who said it so take this with a grain of salt, but it could be an Arab related inspiration more than signifying him being King Deshret reincarnate. As i typed this i learned from engine searching that eyes play a significant part in most Arab culture. I'd love to know more from people who might know more behind Alhaitham's design visually and lore-wise!
Wow.. I wish my gaze can make women giggle. ;3 I don't feel like I need another variant of Keqing. (But I seem to have a perfect Gilded Dream set for him.)
um... correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Scarlet King was ever depicted in any cutscene. If I'm wrong, please show me, I'm deadly curious about his depiction.
Did you get to know about Sumeru inspiration now? It is based on middle East and india cause many locations name are after Persian and indian mythology. Both of Sumeru archon name is indian i.e. kusnali and rukhdevatta And kusnali human form name is Persian i.e. Nahida.
