Don't forget Layla, Faruzan, Collei, and Dori cameos too. Hoping for more screentime of all of them esp. Collei. As for Nahida, she already stole the spotlight for the longest time but hoping for more of hers too.
I am definitely going to pull for him as he's become one of my favorite characters in the game. His writing is 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌 And I love how this demo just starts with Kaveh, Cyno and Tighnari basically gossiping about him lmao

1:01 that stare still gives me chills. The way I'm actually convinced to pull him bc of this demo hahaha I love every part of this, the music, the animation, the interaction between the boys, all of them are golden.
2:18 I read someone pointing out on the demo's comment section that this glass things was a reference to the real life person inspiration of Alhaitham, his name was Ibn al-Haytham, known as the father of modern optics. al-Haytham at some point in his life pretend to be a crazy man too for avoiding punishments, reminds you of a certain scene on the Archon Quest don't you?
yes yes yes I am absolutely pulling for him (fingers crossed!!) He is designed well, so cool, animations are sick, *and* he is dendro (dendro units are scarce rn). Tighnari is the only other dendro dps right now and I would love to add a second one to my roster
Definitely gonna pull for him 💕 he’s been my must-pull character from Sumeru ever since we met him in the story, and even if his kit is better or worse than everyone expects, I’ll just be happy running around the desert with him ✨✨
Besides Nahida (obviously because she’s the Archon), no other character from Sumeru has caught my eye more than Al Haitham. Dehya, Candace, Cyno, Nilou, etc. I didn’t really care much for every other playable character from Sumeru aside from Al Haitham. So I’ll be rolling for him and his weapon for sure. It was so unexpected. I loved the 4 boys together, the music, the entire execution... just perfection. I don't care about the "dendro kequing" joke, I love this caracter, so I will be pulling
I knew I was gonna pull for him ever since I saw leaks lol- he's just so cool! And his play style seems similar to keqings who I main and he's likely to be the premier dendro dps so I for one and hyped to being pulling him
alhaitham is one of my absolute fave genshin characters!!! top 5 for me, absolutely adore him and i'm so excited to get him, i have him guaranteed :D his personality is one of my favourites he's so cute and loveable to me

He is the first character I bought the 100€ top up for. I just love his character so so much and the "knowledge over pover" vibes💚 annnd on top of that I can finally expand my collection as a certified husbando collector :3
I love his character sm both his appearance and his personality and role in the story I'm actually out of primos for now but would for sure try to get him this time or the next rerun
I pulled for him and been playing him since, here is my understanding of him: He and Keqing are an absolute look-alike, but definitely not feel-alike. It’s like wielding two swords with identical looks but with absolutely different balance. The details I need to consider while using him is way more than using Keqing and I found it so fun to play with. The rotation differs based on the teams you put him in and if you pull for C6, that’s a mechanism for 5heads for sure. In a word, feels not like Keqing and fun to play with
One more thing, I highly recommend him as a Dendro dps, his mechanism is the opposite of Nahida’s, therefore, you don’t want them on the same team, which means that you can have two different strong Dendro teams with different focuses. The Dendro combat system is now starting to be completed.
I feel like his theme in the live stream is better because in the video it's just a slower version of it but he's a badass the way he's just killed the enemies and just walks away like it was nothing
his demo only made me wanna save and wait for kaveh more! maybe someday i’ll get alhaitham, but for now it sounds stressful to prefarm for him and i’m on 50/50, so i’m just gonna wait
this has to be one of my favourite demos, Kaveh was so expressive and gossiping to the bois was hilarious, I love their group dynamic. the transition to Alhaitham's burst was so good too aaaaaaaaaaaa I'm absolutely pulling for this man please come home

I'll be going for Dehya! But I enjoyed the demo. Love seeing the guys get together and play card games haha. And the music is really good. Sumeru's demos have had the best music!
This is the first time we have a trailer told by a random 4* character isn't it? Usually it's Dain or Alice telling them. I really like this, it makes us dive in a more comfortable situation among friends, it feels homey and casual (I love this vibe), and at the same time it feels fitting for Alhaitham himself! He's just a dude who's a massive nerd and thinker, a student who happens to have a vision. I loved it
I'm 100% pulling for Alhaitham. I've wanted him since I first laid eyes on him in that one Sumeru teaser video, and I have enough to go double pity if need be. I even have his artifacts prefarmed and a weapon ready for him.
I have been saving and SIMPING since he was first teased in the Sumeru release trailer and have been diligently saving and pre-farming for him. I have about 220 pulls, on 50/50. 16million mora saved to 90 and triple crown him. HAITHAM NATION RISE UP
As a husbando collector and a meta player. I’m definitely going to pull for him. you know.. I’m a sucker for “socially awkward” stoic introvert guy. Alhaitham being one of these type is an icing on the cake. it is no concidence that he shares the same JP Seiyuu with Goblin Slayer. they knew what they were doing. they tried to create their own Goblin Slayer but without goblin slaying. they even share the same personality 😍 Meta wise, he’s really strong. It’s just that a lot of people underestimate him, saying he’s dendro Keqing. without realizing that Keqing is actually a good character now. beside, being a dendro character is already meta. the floor of dendro archetype is so high to the point where you can easily clear abyss with tiny investment. Not gonna lie though, this demo video is one of my favorite demo of all time. banger music, Kaveh being that one gossip girl, TCG night hangout and Tighnari/Cyno being best buddy. 🤣

Even though I love Al-haitham gonna skip his banner cause Scara and Shogun left me brokeeeee. I don't wanna miss out on any Sumeru character only because how good each and every one of them look plus their interaction with one another I just adore them.
Pulling for him 100%. He’s my most anticipated character to pull after Nahida (I have wanderer too but he’s eh). A good dendro DPS won’t be bad purely bc dendro itself is strong by application alone, which is a quality it shares with hydro, plus I really love his character

Dehya is a sweetheart and beautiful but I gotta give it up to Al. His brilliant mind in the archon quests, personality, and the fact that he’ll be another dendro character to add to my party makes him a must pull for me.
