Very nice vid for newcomers. Only thing i wanna note is that you said elt's j214a hits high. This is not true. It's a mid. Can be blocked standing or crouching. The same applies to the C version. Everything else about the video was fine though. These sorts of videos are really nice for introducing people to the character so good stuff on making these for people!

This felt more like an intermediate tutorial to me, an absolute beginner still intimidated by this game. Showing the important moves is nice, but I was missing seeing the command inputs and/or having sample combos for all of the moves shown (something to help progress past the mashing phase). What is the basic game plan with this character, etc

All of this information can be found in the character tutorial in training mode. At the end of the character specific combos it has a gameplan that addresses all your concerns.

Ive noticed that her 3c has very strange properties on the boost jump sometimes it jumps much higher then i expect and either drops my combo or allows for a 214a/c if you can catch it in time. But is there any way to do it consistantly?

Yes! So if you cancel a 3[C] with a neutral 8 jump, it will be much higher than if you were to forward jump or backward jump. If you want to cancel your 3[C] into 214A/C consistently, I would suggest using a reverse beat cancel with 2A or 5A and practice the timing. Hope this helps!

How do I do the pistol shot thats ricocheting from the ceiling? I did it once randomly and cant repeat it anymore, I need it for my combo, literally the only move I still dont know how to do, cant google it either. Its in 2:54. I usually just end up with Eltnum shooting in front of her 4 times, or 1 time, cant get it to bounce off

As the tutorial implies, its the "charged" version. You have to hold down the corresponding button in order to perform that version of the move

lmao thanks. No, its just my second one (Gordeau) was badly done, so someone recommended that I do a format like this until I can script something out. My next one will probably be a combination of my seth and eltnum guides

well your probably going to need to search under the name sion and not eltnum because shes originally a type moon character that happened to be crossovering with this game under a different name

Chain Shift. When you're in Vorpal state (when the GRD meter is in your favor and blinking, you enter vorpal), you gain a fee enhancements to some abilities. It also allows you to double tap (X) so you can cancel any action and gain meter from the amount of GRD blocks you have. Hope this helps!
