I like how Star Platinum's first "Ora's" are very different because (IMO), Daisuke Ono is still practicing it and now he's mastered it, he voiced better Ora's now.
The thing that got me the most excited for the game ngl. Seriously that Ora's and Muda's hit so hard now, it's like they are brand new voice actors, which is probably due to them being more used to the role now.
@@monoxroxl9440 Well, unless they already recorded English lines for the game they will not happen now, thanks to Billy Kametz’ passing on the 9th of June. …We’ll miss you, English Josuke.
I kinda wish Yuki Kaji would voice Johnny for the SBR anime, i know he already voiced Koichi but since SBR is a different continuity, it wouldnt clash....
Indeed. Besides, characters like Tarkus and Tiziano share the same voice actor. And, just to strengthen my argument, the dub recycled Yuya's VA for Giorno.
I know a lot of people are feeling anxious about the new voices because of nostalgia towards the old ones but trust me it grows on you after a bit I love the new voices now it just takes time. Although this is mostly the case for characters that had the same voice actors before like DIO Jotaro and Jonathan, I know for a fact that the new voices for characters like Koichi Kakyoin Bruno and Giorno are going to be welcomed greatly because their voices in the anime are just so much better then the old ones.
My favorite is Vanilla Ice. For the anime, they brought back the voice actor from Heritage for the future. Hearing his delivery of Vanilla Ice's lines is almost uncanny because of how similar they sound. Now in ASB, they didn't have vanilla ice's VA, likely due to them never assigning one for the anime yet. But here, we get the original voice actor from heritage for the future, and if you've played both, you can instantly recognize how perfect they sound. This really is the best JoJo fighting game to date.
Underrated is Yuki Kaji’s voice acting for Johnny Joestar. You can tell he’s gone from whiny Eren to being the Eren now. You can hear a lot of Eren Jaeger in Johnny Joestar, which I like because they’re quite similar.
You kept mentioning a popular character from a different anime in which he also voices, why not Koichi in this same anime where Johnny is instead, not that it's bad, but he's the one not getting enough recognition from the same fandom or the fact that not many JoJo fans even know he also voices Koichi, and I often hear Koichi every time Johnny speaks, but I somehow keep forgetting that he also voices Johnny since he just sounds more childish. Yuki Kaji is underrated for that reason for almost sounding like a different person after voicing a different character and not simply because the character he voices like Eren is just popular, and they're both in JoJo so Johnny keeps reminding me of Koichi and not any other anime character he also voices. either way, Yuki Kaji's voice is remarkable for both Koichi and Johnny, and I want both of these 2 characters he voices to be quite well know for being voiced by the same VA in the same JoJo Game. If the SBR Anime comes out any time soon, I want them to keep Yuki Kaji as the same VA for Johnny in the anime. My apologies for being unable to keep this short and ended up creating a Massive Essay instead.
I always thought the opposite. I think his performance as Johnny is so good you can't hear Eren in his voice. He sounds introspective but assertive, Eren's voice feels really weak and desperate, except for the situations in which it gets overly deep at the end of the story due to plot related reasons. Stellar voice acting
Ngl, some of the old voices had a few differences that I liked, such as Kakyoin going "SPLAAAASHU" instead of "SPLASHUUUU" or Jonathan's yell during his first super sounding like he was trying to make sure his punch went all the way through.
Dio's voice now is built different due to him liking his role :D but fr I would want to see Kensho Ono's voice on Giorno here i also love the old va but the voice on Kensho Ono is just too good 👍
I know the style is leaning more towards the show but from what I’m seeing they took out the manga panels and stuff, which is a shame since they look cool
I'm honestly really glad they got almost everyone back for this remaster. Even characters who already have their original voice actors had their lines redone, and it really helps improve the feel of the game. I personally really love how Jonathan sounds now when compared to his original lines, and Star Platinum's Ora's sound a lot better
@@duckwithabs4537 actually his voice actor in asb is koji yusa, not hiroshi kamiya (who voices law, levi, etc.) rohan in original asb is actually voiced by him though!
Even with some of the returning voice actors since the original All Star Battle, they still have them redo their lines to sound different to sound more like the anime version perhaps. Like Daisuke Ono for example, voiced as Jotaro ever since the original All Star Battle for the PS3 and returned for the anime version, Part 3, 4, 5, and 6. Now in All Star Battle R, he along with some other returning voice actors, redid their lines for this more modern version.
That would be amazing if you could choose time stop sfx or every time effecting ability between the game’s original sfx and the anime’s sfx. If that does happen, Za Wārudo needs the OVA sfx as an option
How come Koyasu-san sounds nothing like himself and at the same time incredibly unmistakable, idk what kinda magic he has going on this time around but I like the deeper and angrier voice he gave to DIO
Please for the love of god tell me that all characters still have access to their original color schemes? Just as an example Jotaro in the og PS3 game had blue as his color I hope this is still a thing in ASBR.
They don’t, there gonna have the colors from the show and EOV game as they should. I didn’t like the old colors at all. Jotaro in black is wayyyy better then in blue
@@JacobJohnson-el5up Weird I have never on the internet ever seen anyone say black Jotaro > Blue Jotaro especially since when Part 3 came out back in 2015, so many hated Jotaros anime colour
So the original version has the manga version that time when Phantom Blood released in 2012 and Battle Tendency in 2013! Now the R version has the anime version from Phantom Blood through Stone Ocean! Steel Ball Run and JoJolion still didn't get an anime adaptation yet!
Both in the original too! It was actually Daisuke's first time voicing Jotaro and it's cool to see how much of his interpretation and performance he already had figured out.
Jonathan's voice actor is my fav in the series so far (im up to part 4) he just knows how to really hype people up. Nothing beats SUNLIGHT YELLOWWWW OVERDRIVEUUUUUU
I love how all star battle's voices sound much like something that would be taken from a old anime/OVA, they may not sound equal to the anime but they are still good
They changed everyone's default colour schemes to match the anime. Dio doesn't wear that lipstick, so they removed it to fit. But in the alternate colour schemes, everyone's original one will be there, and yes, Dio's lipstick returns! Dio's high outfit also matches that original colour scheme, so that's a plus if you like both that and the outfit.
Something I noticed with the remastered game is how well Dio's VA differentiated the voices of the various versions of the character (Brando, DIO, and both Diegos from part 7).
I love the games having the anime voice actors so much, not only are they the voices I immediately imagine the characters to have, but it makes them consistent and flow together better. Plus, the anime performances are brilliant.
I prefer it where they would be in a panel and the sound effects are included, Gives good Aesthetic Visual since Most JoJo Media back then Heavily relied on the Manga's Visuals. Kinda Feels Empty without them.
Surprised they rerecorded the first two Parts. Also, looks like there's a stage from Eyes of Heaven in there, maybe we'll get a few more ported from it.
I was kinda hoping they'd use the time stop sound effect from the anime or eyes of heaven, but regardless the VA's did an incredible job with redoing the lines
I wish Johnny had a voice remaster as well, not that the original is bad, but i’d like him to get some new voice lines still edit: im talking about the tusk voice lines
