The Arknights Writers went full throttle when writing story for IS3

Beagle is dead in one of Dusk's painting worlds, but it's heavily implied that something happened to her during whatever the Great March of Bolívar was (whether thsi is related to the on-going bolivarian civil wars or not is mere speculation). Overall, the A1 Reserve Squad is more or less dissolved by the time of Who is real, as everyone is now a seasoned Operator.

I forgot to add the description about beagle. Even though the said event took place within one of Dusk's "painted worlds" that was based on Kroos' recollections and memories, there are several hints given in the Archives of Lava the Purgatory and Kroos the Keen Glint. Whether Beagle remains missing, being dead or being injured in the future remains unknown.

I've been thinking this for a little while, but Thorns death in this scenario is actually just a bit more tragic than the text tells us. Assuming that his seaborne medicine wasn't planned beyond being a last-ditch effort, and he didn't tell anyone, then he might have been one of the first Operators to have been KIA. Assuming his squad managed to evacuate mostly everyone and then they got out (might not have), then whoever was with him and managed to make it back to the landship/last city would have to tell Doc, Ely, Weedy and Whisperain that as far as anyone knows, Thorns was KIA on that operation. Definitely don't want to be the guy who has to tell Elysium why his best friend died.

I like how you mentioned Ace, Scout and 2 people from Rosmontis's squad but forgot like 37 other operators that died during Doctor's rescue operation, all mentioned by Kal'tsit in that log u showed for Rosmontis's ops.

IS3 endings in a nutshell Ending One: True end. We saved Highmore, and Mizuki decided to give us a foresight. Of what could've gone wrong Ending Two: Ultrakill, but its not on hell. Ending Three: We lost the waif, we lost one of the best Trap in the game. R.I.P

Technically Faust used his Art (implied to be Camouflage-type Art) to open escape path for his allies (the invisible crossbow man dude), but at the cost of rupturing his organs, which caused his death.

I don't think Thorns can be considered "dead" unless ego death also counts as death.

In a sense, the death of beagle is loose because the setting being a dream from Dusk’s doing could be more from interpretation rather than completely true considering what Mr. Nothing’s dream was like as well

I think what I liked about the deaths I’ve seen is that they are very thought out. Like they aren’t killed just for “feels” or just because “they aren’t relevant”, but instead because they had to die. And you wished they didn’t have to but knew they had to.

Dr. Miarow from the R6 collab event was the one that brought actual tears for me, even big guy Tachanka loses it when Miarow died in his arms, begging him not to die as his lifelong dreams aren't fulfilled yet

Wouldn't Beagle's death, assuming she did die, be a canon death considering Who is Real is a canon event that just takes place sometime in the future?

There's lots of other NPCs who's also died in lore. Tallulahs best friend Alina got hit by Ursus soldiers and Skalters friend Alisa got turned into a seaborn in IS3

Mizuki also died in the third ending sacrificing himself to became one with the sea and lead Seaborns away from land Technically everyone die on 2nd ending cause Ishar-mla reduce all of humanity until one individual left (the doc)

Beagle is not confirmed dead in Who is Real and Who is Real isn't non-canon. It takes place years further ahead than the main story, as do all the dragon sibling events.

The World of Terra is Harsh. Also This goes to show how Different Skadi is compare to the other Aegirians since her existence is a Vessel for Ishar'mla that's why she is free from Oripathy unlike the rest. Also Gladiia and Specter's Death is sad relief to me since they died and Petrified but atleast both of them won't end up the same fate as Thorns. A quick death compare to the struggle for control over a Mutated Body just to end up dead or become a mindless Seaborn. IS3 is literally exploring one of the Darkest Timeline in Terra

Is there any information about Fang? I heard a long time ago that she canonically dead too, but unconfirmed by any records and such except that her necklace has same resemblance as Kroos alter ear accessory.

Isn’t the endings for IS3 non canon anyways? None of it happened. It’s all “what if” that Mizuki speculates with Doctor should everything go down south. The real ending is then just talking around the camp fire…

Nobody died in canon that is playable. Not unless HG does some serious troll moves and releases Ace, or Outcast.

among all deaths I don't understand only one point. Who, and How, petrified Abyssal Hunters? because all I can guess is that was some sort of Neurodegeneration/Metastatic Aberration, which effects of freeze and paralysis.

I think Beagle's death is the most tragic here, it's too close to reality, a young soul dying in a war she didn't ask for, she didn't belong in the battlefield, just an average girl, why do I say this? It's in her onboarding dialouge "My codename is Beagle! I know I didn't do very well on my assessment, but I'll still do my best at my internship!"

Man, I didn't know thorns with his stoic face knows that others care for him to the point that he even knows that doctor will put him to rest if ever he turns into a seaborn monster.

my only grip is that almost certainly HG wouldn't really kill playable (Beagle are still unknown). and are ppl ready to even face a FRACTION of the deaths in IS3 for canon story line? i know im ready for my favs to die for the story, and it would definitely add the weight of their ideals too. but almost no one will be on the same page with me
