Using a bit of a chaotic approach without losing grip with true portrait principles to create a contrast in style and expressive final drawing
I used pan pastel, sofft pallet knife, kneaded eraser, and Japanese brush pen.

I swear...each video of yours I watch i think "that's my favorite " until I watch the next one! Can't lie, I actually gasped out loud when you first went in all wild with the ink😲😆 but I was completely mesmerized by it!! I'm an old lady and have only been teaching myself to draw and paint as a coping mechanism for severe pain the last several years...and it's been a life saver. But even though, in my head, I want to be loose and all over the place, I always end up tight, detailed and hunched over gripping my tools worried about every move. So...this....this is phenomenal! No joke! I was given some basic charcoal and finally bought myself some nice pencils and larger paper because I really want to loosen up. Obviously I'll never be able to do anything like this!! But on days, when my hands or body can't move, more often then not nowadays, it's SO fun to watch you and other create these gorgeous works of art! It helps me keep my head straight and positive and inspired!! Thank you so much for all the effort it takes to share your work...truly...these words don't express it well enough, but, just know its appreciated :)

It would mean a lot to me if you would paint a picture for me!!! You'd see a father and a mother, and in the middle you'd see their daughter. The daughter would be desperate, divided between her parents. Your pictures are so impressive for me, you are the only one who can realize the picture!!!

I love the sort of scribble and smudge way you draw, I just fear trying it when I’m drawing incase I ruin the drawing, but I guess I need to get more experimental and more adventurous 😂

Everybody can learn to draw. But you are gifted with uniqueness. It is not an ordinary sketch. I like the middle result around 5:33 a little bit more than the final result. But the sketching process is amazing as itself.

Absolutely stunning!! I love your style and your technique 🤩😍 The fact that it's proportional but extremely free and playful to break out of the grid...so to speak ;-)!! You mention the 400 series - can I use the 300 series as well,, you reckon? The vellum og smooth surface?

Do you find the gum eraser works better with the pan pastel rather than willow charcoal?

Seemingly random scribble lines with no reference point quickly become deliberate layers of depth and definition. Watching you create something so freely and effortlessly just makes my mind race. I understand what I am seeing but I can't comprehend the process. Thank you for sharing your work.
