Wish I could see it in person. I'm sure video doesn't do it justice. 🤩 I'm having trouble looking for a wide body because mines lowered. But if I was stock this would be the look.
Bro you totally Blew my mind with this, I knew but I didn’t know you were going this big! This Beast looks even more amazing than we could’ve imagined, this really looks like a whole new car
hahaha pretty awesome right?! Really happy I ended up giving this a try. Def looks like a whole new car - couldn't have worked out any better. Thanks man
You really transformed that R/T to a high and tasteful level. Every penny spent on it is was worth it. Kudos to you R/T life. Thank you for the valuable information on the install and for the detailed breakdown!
until they change the interior there's no reason to trade it in. You've basically got a 2020 widebody scat without the breaks, suspension, or price tag. You're winning IMO, keep up the great content!
She's beautiful, I been following you from the beginning. Congrats. You definitely built something special from scratch. I'm glad I can say I witnessed the growth. Mopar or no car
Love the Charger coming together, so happy you choose to continue to modify the R/T I tend to see everyone just upgrade right away to hellcats. It makes your R/T that much more special.
Man she’s beautiful brother I really love the time and effort you put into it, I really wish I could afford to go your route or damn near close to it with my RT but money is tight smh lol
A member of local club did this recently and one thing the body shop told him was to fit all body kits first because none fit perfect as is, no matter how expensive. That way grinding and fiberglass work can be done before finish and final installation will be perfect. Looks really sick, man, and anyone who says different is just hatin🤘😎👍
Hey Man! From a fellow charger driver to another, love the channel. You actually were my go-to when researching possible mods for my charger before I even bought it and now I have my own car media pages and channel! Keep it up!
Buddy, I haven't seen your content in a while, but keep on doing your THING! The car's DOPE, and as long as you're satisfied, that is all that matters.
It turned out awesome man. I am so glad I got to see the transformation of your R/T since you 1st got her. You have been the trend setter and go to guy for all us R/T owners. Congrats to you! I can't wait to see her with a supercharger. (Hopefully a Whipple😁)
The forced air is going in soon - all paid for & everything. This widebody is going to have the performance to back up the looks! Thanks man - I always appreciate the support
@@RTLife your welcome. You’ve come a long way. I been following you for ever now and tbh some guys just go and buy a new car and don’t really take their time to build it like you did. I can always respect that.
Wow bro.... I can hear how happy you are as you describe your beast.. Im so happy for you... Its amazing how far you have taken your R/T.... Youre inspiring alot of people out here. Keep it up
By far the sexiest widebody I've seen! (May be a little biased because my scat charger is the same color 😅) but damn! Then the viper hood.. That's what did it for me, haven't seen a widebody with that hood ever. Looks amazing 🧊🥶❄
Very Speechless on this upgrade I was thinking of trading my charger/R/T in but I don't want the 392 payment or insurance . I'm better off paying my car off and doing this blue print you just did. Thank you for this I'm excited to start .
All u need is a one of one custom spoiler for aero and and a 6piston conversion with a color and design of ur choice and get the decal u took off put back on and ur in there like swimwear!
@@RTLife lol leave some of that money for the rest of us lol all in all be cautious of going the "glue" method on the flares mother nature dont play about hers
Coming from working in a body shop the only colors we dont blend are flat colors anything metallic especially pearlescent you have to blend to make it look 100% OEM
Love the honesty it’s a hard choice of either trading or trading in haha. Definitely patience is key I almost put my self in a bad deal by trading mine in but I love my challenger someday it be like yours far enough in the journey and love the process!! Great video!!!
I wondered if they were going to feather it in. Yea, It's would have been better, but honestly, it's not super noticeable. And depending on the wrap situation or whatever in the future, you may not really see it. I know you are already 4-6 steps ahead of us in plans and what's next. Looks amazing. Seriously. It really looks good.
yah they did a solid job with this - very happy with this new look. I wanted to keep the RT but have it look more modern. Certainly causing a stir though!
Looks awesome!!! Sounds awesome!!! Stop thinking about trading up! This to me my opinion is better. You see hard work an love put into your ride! And you don't see that style all day every day. Badass man!
i’ve been calculating the costs to widebody my challenger and i came right in the ballpark of this amount just wasnt sure about how much painting would be. very helpful!
Absolutely beautiful!...they did a excellent job on the paint and the whole install...you got a brand new charger all over again in my mind...feels like a new car I bet!....I plan on ordering my SRT8 body kit for my 300...I'm pretty much doing what you have done to your charger but in 300 form...and now that we are friends on facebook I can shoot you updates and progress on the build...I just got the car so I'm doing alot of brainstorming and really doing my research so I get nothing but the best for my build.
Looks amazing seems like you know what direction you are heading with that beast soo glad you have kept the RT and molding it into the vision you have created.
Your always better keeping what you got. Looks really really good! I hate trading in cars. I just traded a 2019 Durango R/T and a 2012 SRT 8 Super Bee in on the HC Durango and they sold those 2 for a touch over $10,000 profit. Needless to say they didn’t pass that on to me. My advice keep what you got and pay it off. They’ve made these cars for so long you’ll always be able to find interior parts etc lol.
Excellent explanation of the cost of parts as well as the labor-include approximate cost of the "blending" . Car looks great hope all is well and one of these days either at Bellmore or even one of your meets we will meet!!
Kinda nervous now, already ordered a kit but i am lowered on H&R springs- I have no issue getting the fenders cut to be able to achieve the no run issue. Also already bought OEM WB wheels so i hope i’m not screwed. Great video though very informative
I was gonna ask about all of the details in the last video, but I knew you had us bro! Thanks for dropping. Couple quick questions: 1. Thanks for explaining why flares have to be cut, and what you can do to prevent them. What if you had chose to keep your replicats, how does that process work? 2. In terms of blending it to make it a show car, what did you mean by that?
1. I would need to put spacers on to kick them out & make it look natural (I don't recommend) 2. When the forced air is in place I want to make this Charger look like a show or meet car. Basically a trophy ride.
Having been a painter at one time in my life, I can tell you that you'll always see a difference between new paint versus old paint. Whether it be a car, a wall, fence, whatever. There will always be a difference.
Hell even painting quarters and bumpers at the same time with the same paint they don't always look the same even though it's literally the same batch of paint.
The wide body is looking badass brother. It doesn't even look like an RT Charger anymore Considering the 5.7L (345) Hemi V8 has been stroked to a 6.5L (397) Hemi Stroker V8.
I would feel bad if somebody works a 3rd shift and as soon as they head hits and all of a sudden they hear that cold start you know they're gonna be mad. That cold start is obnoxiously loud and the video doesn't do justice love it.
Hey man love your car and channel so A couple months ago I actually ended up doing the conversion using Vicrez widebody kit and everything turned out perfect as far as the presentation of it. I didn't listen to you when you said you wouldn't recommend going with the spacers. I was being cheap considering the fact that I had just bought new rims and wheels right before Christmas but long story short my finder flares did not hold they all ended up coming off. The shop I went to used double-sided tape. I live in baton rouge and everyone knows our streets and potholes are ridiculous. How did you fix this problem?
I've always liked your channel and especially your Family. Your cars looks amazing. The only thing I would change, would be removing the plastic center piece on the Wicker Bill, it's cheeping the WB. Keep up the good works! Triple
I noticed the Syosset sign in the background, I live in the Nassau County area as well! Waiting to pickup my 22 Charger SP, it would be awesome to come say what's up sometime!
Bro, the paint doesn’t need blending. It’s perfect. If someone points out a minor discrepancy like that, they’re just being a hater 🤷🏽♂️ The car is perfect 👌🏾
I think you went the better route widebodying this. You had a unique car before, and this just seals the deal. Sure you could have sold and bought a stock widebody but then there's no story.
