I know the jets defense is better than the Chargers, but I got to give credit to the Chargers' defense for a strong performance, too. Don't give me the b.s about how bad the jets o-line was. In 2020 Justin Herbert rookie year his o-line was ranked 32nd and Herbert still won RYOY and broke records. He got it done why can't Wilson because it's a talent thing. Wilson doesn't have it.

They played Zach to pad stats during final minutes, so he could complete it yards against soft coverage. They leave Simeon on practice squad, so he is not a threat to Zach. On 6 of the sacks, he held the ball for over 4 seconds. He is barely an NFLbackup let alone a competent starter. The eyes do not lie. This is JD hubris. Think Salah's marching orders regarding Zach come from JD

Jets could very easily be a one or two-win team right now

As a Jets fan, I knew not to watch the game, but did so anyways. Its infuriating to watch the offense go 3 and out, and have the defense out on the field constantly, trying to salvage the team. I feel for the defense, nothing but studs on that side of the ball. Offense is really, letting the Defense down, especially Zach and the Oline. The drops by the WRs didnt help either. I swear, us Jets fans, cant have nice things.

Stats showed Zach had over 3 second of protection lol… as bad as a oline unit, they still protected ok.. dood held the ball because he’s playing not to make a mistake lol.

We've seen players come and go on both sides of the ball for the past three years, but nothing has changed. The one constant? Zach Wilson. And the fact that I have to reach to an awkward position on my keyboard to type SHIFT Z makes it all that much worse. Why are they comparing with giants, giants are playing with a 3rd string QB, jets are playing with a high 1st Rd pick, even with tyrod Taylor Giants offense moves the ball, jets can't at all.

Salaeh should have the backup QB taking half the 1st team reps in practice because by not preparing for the inevitable, the jets are just pretending the problem doesn't exist. At least if you have our number 2 QB ready to play, you can bench Zach if the offense looks the same next week or if he eventually gets hurt. Because Salaeh won't even acknowledge that maybe a different guy would provide a spark, we are stuck with a QB who is so afraid to throw interceptions, he takes 20 yard sacks for a loss and fumbling every game. I wish a reporter would ask Salaeh when he inevitably says, "Zach gives us the best opportunity to win" , well as coaches maybe you should start preparing someone else. Bad QB play makes everyone around him look worse, and that's why Zach needs to be benched. Salaeh isn't preparing anyone else so he doesn't have to answer reporters questions about "how bad does Zach have to play before you sit him".

You could have talked about how Herbert has performed the best against the Jets defense out of all of the elite quarterbacks that played them and that's with a broken finger You could have talked about how the defense stepped up when they needed to you could have talked about how impressive the fastest player in the league Darius Davis was on that punt return.
