I too have watched this episode a dozen times and it still sends me into fits of laughter. Riverdale will never have a better couple than Vanessa and Charity.
I have watched all these parts through like 7 times. I am obsessed with Vanity and Charity is the most perfect woman. Total in awe of her. I hope Vanity reunites when Vanessa comes back this year. I know both Emma and Michelle want that, and the writers too, despite being married and being with other people, Vanessa is the only person Charity has ever loved seriously. so it looks promising! I am so thankful for your efforts with these videos. It is a lot of work and I am so grateful you have put EVERY SINGLE MOMENT from like 3 years of Vanity in there. I know how time-consuming that is, to find every single scene and edit them together, but for now, part 9 when?
Omg, how I miss these two together!!! There's soo much chemistry between them, unlike with Mac, where Imo, there's none, a'tall!! Miss all the smiles, laughter and eye contact that Charity and Vanessa shared, even if they didn't always agree! Miss that oh so cute expression of disbelieve, where Emma's mouth drops opens, she juts out her jaw and curls her tongue behind her front teeth, as if she's holding it there to keep from saying the first thing that comes to mind. Seems so natural and realistic, yet I haven't seen her do that in... a looong time! Even miss Charity's dark roots, as well. LOL. Gave her face more... character maybe? I dunno, it was just... quite attractive! Emmerdale is going to be making one very HUGE mistake, if they don't put these two back together! They are so very good, even when they argue. And what couple doesn't argue, ya know? We need people in our lives, who see things a bit different than we do in order to... help us grow. And it creates drama and entertainment value for the show, as well. Once again, thanks so much for your time and effort putting these together!!! I've enjoyed every minute of them many, many times now! It's good to look back at how they were then and... hope and dream of a wonderful reunion. And thanks to you, we can.
Although I'm sure the show went to a lot of trouble to make the proposal entertaining, funny, sad and a screw up in true Charity style, which was entertaining, yet... I feel like these two actually did have a special place for the proposal, which might have meant more to Vanessa. And that place was right there in the pub... the cellar, where they first kissed. Vanessa on the sofa and Charity on her knees or perhaps even sliding off the arm of the sofa to sit beside her like she did before... but instead of snapping Vanessa's mask, this time she opens the box with the ring in it. Some of the same beautiful phrases could have been incorporated a bit beforehand... 'Charity I don't need a special place, wherever you are that's my special place,' "Ohhh, that was so good, I wish I'd said that..." And then Charity's eyes light up with that 'I've got an idea' look and she leads Vanessa to the cellar. I know the fireworks were a pretty scene, but with their chemistry.... there could have been more meaningful, heartfelt fireworks in the cellar. Far more than the first time they were there!! Yeah, probably not near as entertaining and a bit corny, but... in my mind, it would be how simple, no frills, yet meaningful as Vanessa would want it. Oh well... it was fun while it lasted... and all good things must come to an end.... especially on soap operas where drama and change keep the wheels greased and in motion so that the show can go on.
