It seemed like he implied that his exes 'weren't smart enough' for him. That was my interpretation of what he said. I'm sure their feelings are hurt by that 😐. And 'competent people are 'rare''?? Harsh. Every person is good at at least 1 thing (and everyone has unique skills/talents/passions), so actually, yes, you can(!) learn something from everyone(!). They seem cute together though and have good chemistry.

Is Charity the one he's learning from right now? He's learning from a woman who is dating and frolicking with other men. Wow. He also mentioned that Charity is "competent and that's so rare." Unreal! You are absolutely correct within the essence of your comment. For whatever reason Dotum will make a statement of that kind in a public venue as The Bachelorette. Is he a DOLT? Better still all the women he dated -- their emotions are inconsequential? What if the women say, he is so unattractive I am/was happy to be rid of him. In regards to Charity's decision making -- she does not know -- she does not know.

It’s a common meme, Twitter topic or debate topic in the west African community that Nigerian men are trifling, “can’t be trusted”, or some women from their experiences will say avoid Nigerian men, etc etc. It’s mostly just a joke but a few people have written books about it. Example “Nearly All the Men in Lagos Are Mad”. Dotun seems really great and I think he’ll make it far.
